I am writing a review on the DVDIce princess brought out in 2005.
This is a movie about a hard working science student Casey, who enjoys skating. She only ever skates around a lake near her house.
However, at school she was set an assignment in science which had to relate to her in someway.
The Plot
Casey decided that her science project would be the movement skills in skating, so she goes down to the local skating rink and starts filming.
She meets Tina Harwood an ex figure skater champion, who is coaching her daughter to be the same.
Casey then gains a keen interest in skating, and gets Tina to help her become a professional figure skater.
She begins training at the bottom with all this children and works her way up the ladder of skaters.
But will she make it? Or is Tina plotting against her so her daughter can win ...
Advantages: Full of fun and laughs! Disadvantages: Not long enough!

, cluttering up the kitchen but the man is comic genius, and Animals is one of his best shows.
I saw the show live, and the DVD has been watched numerous times. It is still hard not to raise a smile when Ricky explains to the audience about this new theory that contradicts Darwin's version of events that he 'found in a dusty old book in the library'... 'It's called the bible.. '.. 'And it's called The Gospel - so it must be true - clue's in the name!'
The show goes on, covering everything from Sharks and Nazis - "sharks good, nazis less so.." to homosexuality in the jungle and of course the tale of Adam and Eve and how the poor snake was forced to crawl on his belly for the rest of his days - "not the worst possible punishment for a snake.." A fabulous DVD and a wonderful show. Check out the 'extras' on the DVD if you are still unconvinced ...

DVD Description
Celebrated sword-and-sorcery artist Frank Frazetta teams up with animation director Ralph Bakshi for this high-energy animated fantasy. It's a prehistoric battle of the elements as the dissolute ruler of the Ice World, Nekron (Sean Hannon), starts a war against the fire people using a massive, advancing glacier and armies of subhuman monsters as his weapons. When he arranges to have the fire king's shapely daughter, Teegra (Cynthia Lenke), kidnapped, the adventure begins as she escapes her captors and hooks up with Lorn (Randy Norton), lone survivor of an earlier skirmish. With the aid of a mysterious dark warrior (based on Frazetta's famous painting The Death Dealer), Lorn and Teegra fight the armies of Nekron as well as giant monsters, lesbian sorcerers, and other comic book delights. A thunderous classical score by William Kraft adds excitement to this violent, sexy, fast-moving film. It also benefits from unusual animation techniques that nicely complement the far-out imaginations of Frazetta, Bakshi, and screenwriters Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway.
