Advantages: superb storyline as usual, the penultimate FFU dvd and it begins to come to a close Disadvantages: quite expensive
the mind control device and save themselves, but who is this odd character. You'll have to watch it.
Overall : The DVD was about £19 but with this sort of DVD it can be hugely variable from store to store. The DVD also contains Voice actor commentary, production sketches, a 'FinalFantasy: Unlimited Style Guide, a reversible cover and a character booklet. This was originally Japanese but the dubbing is very well done and this makes it a very enjoyable DVD. As I said at the top it is quite an expensive DVD considering you only get 3 episodes, but i would reccomend it strongly as it is an excellent Anime series and well worth seeing at least once.
Happy Viewing ...
Advantages: Final Fantasy Summons Disadvantages: Summons are ugly
're parents.
But the question is, are they're parents even alive? Did their parents neglect them on purpose? Will they ever get back to their world -
Well - what are you waiting for? Go find out.
Good points about the anime - It's FinalFantasy!
So it's got to have some remnants of it.
it has got:
Good Plot: Yes (read above)
Summons - Yes, the traditional one's like Ifrit and Shiva but they're all so ugly compared to FF7 and FF10's summons
Chocobos - Yes, Very cute
Great Music - Definately i even bought the soundtrack and i don't usually do that
Likeable characters - Yes and No but good enough to sustain my interest for me to watch it till the end
Battle Scenes - Yes, Battle scenes are gripping - made me thing, "Oh, is she going to die...and they survive."
Weapons - The idea of the gun and a combination of bullets to summon ...
Advantages: Another facet of the Final Fantasy universe Disadvantages: Doesn't really live up to the franchise
A lot of people have been waiting a long time for an anime series to come along from the FinalFantasy franchise and finally it has arrived. However, does it live up to the name?
The short answer is... no.
Much has been expected of the series, as it bears the FinalFantasy name, but it sadly doesn't deliver.
Don't get me wrong, this is a very enjoyable show and it is still watchable. You will simply feel that they could have done so much better, the storylines of the FF games prove this.
The characters are interesting, if a bit predictable, and the story just about manages to keep you interested right up until the end. It just seems to be lacking that spark which makes the FF games so special.
The biggest surprise for me is that the budget appears to be ridiculously low for this show. Sure, the Demon Gun sequences ...
