Hmmm, it was okay..... but what was with the lady at the beginning of every episode, a save point or something? - a bit weird.
Plot: A pair of twins (Ai and Yu) (a boy and a girl) wait at home for their parents to return, they wait and they wait but they're parents don't come back so they finally decide to look for them. They use the infomation written by their parents to travel to a mysterious place by train where they meet lisa with special powers to protect them from many monsters they encounter. However when Lisa is no match for the monsters they are saved many times by a mysterious gun-man who is able to summon powerful creatures (Summons/Aeons from FF10) to defeat these monsters using a combination of bullets in his magun (demon gun). Despite the danger, the children travel to meet new friends and enemies eager to find they're parents. But the question is, are they're parents even alive? Did their parents neglect them on purpose? Will they ever get back to their world - Well - what are you waiting for? Go find out.
Good points about the anime - It's Final Fantasy! So it's got to have some remnants of it. it has got: Good Plot: Yes (read above) Summons - Yes, the traditional one's like Ifrit and Shiva but they're all so ugly compared to FF7 and FF10's summons Chocobos - Yes, Very cute Great Music - Definately i even bought the soundtrack and i don't usually do that Likeable characters - Yes and No but good enough to sustain my interest for me to watch it till the end Battle Scenes - Yes, Battle scenes are gripping - made me thing, "Oh, is she going to die...and they survive." Weapons - The idea of the gun and a combination of bullets to summon the summons were great.
Overall - Satisfactory If your a fan of Final Fantasy Summons like me then i suggest that you watch it but don't get your hopes up because they are as good as the summons in Final Fantasy Tactics.
