I heard a lot about this film, so I had to go and watch it. I would have to rate this film as being one of the best films this year, which i'm sure will not make you want to ride on a plane ever again.

The film starts off with Alex Browning (Devon Sawa), having a bad dream, and getting worried with a gut feeling that something bad is going to happen in his life.
That next day he is supposed to go on a school trip to France with his class mates by plane, but when he is on the plane ready to go he falls asleep (somehow) and has a vision of the plane taking off and then blowing up and killing everyone on board, including himself.
When he wakes up he realises that it was just a nightmare, but totally freaks out and tells everyone it's going to crash and that he wants to get off the plane.

Carter (Kerr Smith), who is known for picking fights starts squabling with Alex about the situation and they end up having to be taken off the plane, along with Carter's girlfriend Terry (Amanda Detmer), Billy (Sean William Scott from American Pie and Road Trip), who is a class geek, Alex's mate Tod (Chad E Donella), one of the school teachers Mrs Lewton (Kirsten Cloke) and also Clear (Ali Carter, and yes 'Clear' is her name), who is a bit of a loner in the class, but a rather attractive girl. She believed what Alex said and decided to get off with the rest of them.

They are all in the lobbey area still fighting over Alex's behaviour on the plane and the fact that they were going to miss this flight to Paris when they see it taking off.
Moments later, they are all shocked to see that the plane blows up in mid-air. They all then look at Alex in a suspicious way and start to wonder how he knew what was going to happen and think he had something to do with it.
The FBI also think the same when they get involved in the case and follow his every move, especially when the people who got off the plane later start to die one by one.

Alex contiunes to see things happening in his mind and even pictures his friend dying. When he runs around to his house, an ambulance is already there taking out a body of his friend. His friend's parents wonder how Alex knew straight away and the suspicsion of his involvement increases.

Alex soon realises that he has cheated death and discovers he is dealing with DEATH himself and that it was supposed to be their time to die. Now all they have to do is find a way of surviving.

The film is exciting to watch, especially the way they all try to survive the grimreapers rath of death. It is a film I definately enjoyed watching and to tell you anything more about this film would spoil it for you, so go and watch it now.

A also managed to see the DVD version which has some excellent alternative endings which are a 'must see'.

It looks pretty much that there is going to be a sequal to this film and I know that if it's as good as this one then i'm going to be one of the first to see it!, definately worth watching, it's sure to make you jump!
