Of course it is impossible to cheat death. You never know when your time is up! But this is probably the closest you’ll get to actually accomplishing it. Who knows, you may have already found a way. If you have, I’d be interested to know!
This film is not for the squeamish or light-hearted! If you want to experience the adrenaline rush you normally feel when on a rollercoaster, no doubt this is the film to do it!

Usually, I am a bit cautious to sequels after making the unwise decision of purchasing ‘Legally Blonde 2’, but after reading the quotes of two somewhat reliable newspapers (shown above), I decided to give this film the benefit of the doubt.
For those who haven’t watched ‘Final Destination’, I suggest you do so before watching this sequel, because unlike some sequels you do require vital information of the first. For those who have, lets remind you of the storyline. The plot begins when a group of American students are headed to France on the dreaded Flight 180. Alex, one of the students, has a frighteningly realistic premonition involving the horrific explosion of the plane, mid-take off. As one would expect, Alex has a hysterical panic attack and bellows out that
the plane is going to blow up. Not being taken seriously, Alex is escorted off the plane with six other students and a teacher that had somehow got in the way of the commotion. In the departing lounge, fists are a plenty when a few of the students are ‘a bit’ miffed that they have missed out on their trip to France. It is then when they shockingly witness the plane exploding minutes after departing off the runway.
Some time later when the shear shock had died down, and the deaths of Flight 180 had been mourned, the seven passengers that had luckily got off begin to die off one by one. Not only do they mysteriously die, each death being as gut-wrenching as the next, Alex discovers there is a pattern- Death’s Plan. It becomes clear that the people of Flight 180 were all meant to die, and Alex’s premonition had some how interrupted Death’s Plan. With the help of Clear, Alex is determined to beat death!
IF YOU DON’T WISH TO KNOW THE ENDING OF ‘FINAL DESTINATION,’ DON’T READ ON! SORRY, IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE DISCUSSION OF ‘FINAL DESTINATION 2.’
‘Final Destination 2’ is set exactly one year after the terrifying explosion of Flight 180. The scene sets with a news reports discussing its anniversary. It is a well-known mystery that the seven survivors escaped death, and then were all picked off one by one. Most are a bit sceptical and feel this incident was only a coincidence, but an inward fear has emerged for some…
Clear Rivers (Ali Larder), Alex’s girlfriend, is the only survivor to have avoided the path of Death’s Plan. Her quality of life however isn’t one that we’d all be fighting for. Her safety depends only on the fact that she has committed herself to a padded room of a psychiatric hospital. Her constant fear of Death coming after her, means that she religiously disallows any object or person to ‘accidentally’ kill her.
It is only when Kimberly Corman (A.J Cook), has a similar premonition to Alex, that Clear is approached for help. Kimberly witnesses a distressing and destructive pile up, on a chaotic motorway, involving many deaths including herself and her friends. She is then given the chance to change it. Therefore, she cleverly blocks the road turning off to the motorway, with her own car. Officer Thomas Burke (Michael Landes), who would have been a potential victim to the pile up, arrives at the scene to see what the commotion is about. After trying to calm down a hysterical Kimberly, claiming there was going to be a serious accident, the massive collision occurs before their very eyes. The same pattern of events occurs there after, as did in the first of the sequel. The people that were supposed to die at the motorway that day, were now experiencing gruesome deaths.
Being full aware of the danger she would be putting herself in, Clear deserts the psychiatric hospital to bravely join the new group of ‘Death Cheaters’, who need to race against time and try and stay alive.
If you thought the previous film was gruesome, you are in for a shock! The special effects are amazingly realistic and the acting is truly believable. ‘Final Destination 2’ successfully ties up all the loose ends, and there is a fantastic twist in there too!

“MIDDLE OF NOWHERE”- BLANK THEORY “DANCE WITH ME” – THE SOUNDS *****************************======================================== I had a quick look at the website, and I must say it is incredibly morbid. There is a link specifically set up to ‘watch them die’ and a link for the ‘top ten ways to die’. As you load up each link, it counts up the amount of people that have died in the world whilst you have been waiting! (Freaky!!!!) In my case 86 people had died in the world which was disturbing (???). There is also a chance to purchase clothing and other items worn by the stars (mmmmm…..). Oh, and you have the opportunity to hear them scream! A website for the more original fancies, I guess.
