Fighter Aces DVD

Advantages: Kylie Minogue, fun, action packed, fast
Disadvantages: Dated now, Jean-Claude Van Damme's acting ability

...Col. Guile (Jean-Claude Van Damme) and various other martial arts heroes, including a younger Kylie Minogue(not bad) fight against the tyranny of Dictator M. Bison (Raul Julia) and his cohorts. The film includes characters from the video games up to and including Super Street Fighter II. I believe Street Fighter is one of the most underated and unfairly roasted films from the '90's. If anything, this is a lively, vibrant, highly entertaining and ever so well made fun filled film. The effects are not bad but more importantly its packed with excitement and is one of the more superior adventure films of the era. Advantages: Full of Facts
Disadvantages: Mainly Black & White.

...on the Beach at Dunkirk. Then you'll be thrown into the Battle of Britain where our Pilots needed to kill 10 Enemy pilots for every 1 of ours. Impossible odds but as we know so well, the Pilots, Support Staff and everyone associated with our Military Machine endured great loss, sorrow and hardships and succeeded in the face of overwhelming odds. You also see the Value of Women in important roles such as Ferry Pilots and WAAF (Womens Auxillary Air Force) on the airfields and in Control Rooms. Then we go to see a new generation of fighter Aces And the Role of the R.A.F in the defeat of Rommels Africa Corps which had cut an impressive swathe of victories in Africa. ...This is a fantastic selection of live performances by the Foo Fighters. I purchased this DVD before i had actually seen them live and i have to say the real thing definitley lives up to the expectations shown on the DVD. The music is fantastic, the band are gorgeous and the atmosphere electric. This DVD has great sound quality i recommend listening to it in surround sound if possible. The camerawork is also good and adds interest to the performance. The price may be slightly expensive but still worth paying. The performances will blow you away! This DVD is a definite must for any Foo fighters fan. You will not be dissapointed. Obviously not as good as the real thing but as close as it gets. Hey, why not pitch up a tent in ur living room, add a bit of home made mud, pop the DVD in and voila home grown festival!!... Read review
