The film is full of twists and turns( you could easily watch it twice and pick up on things you missed first time round) and has one major twist at the end which I certainly won't spoil for you but I will say it'll probably shock or suprise you -I know I didn't expect it!

white-collar jobs and absent fathers take off their shoes and shirts and fight each other barehanded for as long as they have to. Then they go back to those jobs with blackened eyes and loosened teeth and the sense that they can handle anything. Fight Club is the invention of Tyler Durden projectionist waiter and dark anarchic genius. And it's only the beginning of his plans for revenge on a world where cancer support groups have the corner on human warmth.

to Beck and White Zombie have turned to for help behind the mixing board (and to great results). With the soundtrack to Fight Club (the movie based on the Chuck Palahniuk novel), we finally get a glimpse of one of the duo's original creations. Filled with dark techno and sparse industrial passages, it's a bleak though interesting listen. Sinister funk gives way to medieval chants on "Homework", but the bulk of this disc is all about samples and synths. Don't expect to find the quirks of Paul's Boutique or Odelay here, but in terms of good movie mood music, the Dust Brothers have done it again. --Jason Verlinde

Where to start with this film? 139 mins of intriguing and gripping plot there's definately plenty to say about it, I'll start with my opinions first then get down to the details. I love this film by far one of the best I've seen for a long while, although the first few mins of it you wonder what the hell its all about as it certainly does try to confuse from start to end-its all good though as I must of raved about this film to everyone I know and a few I don't about how good it was so it certainly made a good impression on me.
Anyway onto the details, the main stars in fight club are the ever lovely Brad Pitt(may incourage some girlies to watch it at the very least!) who gives an outstanding (as always) performance as the off the rails insomniac Tyler Durden who appears out of the blue to befriend Ed Norton/Jack(also narrates) - portrayed as abit of a lost sole with no direction ,no friends, no life really.
We are shown his life briefly at the beginning and how he comes to meet Tyler And Marla(Helena Bonham Carter), she plays a slighty crazy young women with a lot of problems, good character but more of a sideline to the actual plot. Moving on, as the story starts to get going an accidental fire causes Jack to lose his appartment/condo(also forgot to mention he loses his suitcase earlier) so things aren't looking good for him with no friends,no posessions, no money, the only option he seems to have is to call the man he met on the plane(Tyler who gave him a business card) and so he does which is where it all starts to unfold.
The plot goes on to show you how a strange but strong bond forms between these two very different characters, starting with a project they setup together called fight club a secret members only group for ordinary men who want to fight just for fun it seems.Jack transforms throughout the film from a hapless weed into quite a tough strong minded guy abit more like Tyler. Fight club was directed by David Finch( seven and Alien3) who I was not familier with at the time, I found it quite hard to believe that a fairly unknown (though not anymore) director was resposible for such a fine piece of film making.
All I can say to end this review is hurry up and watch before someone spoils the great ending for you! XxX
Advantages: Mind Tripping Disadvantages: Too Much Blood
...don't particularly like watching people fight for the fun of it but the most disturbing thing about the film was the way that they made the fighting seem crude. At points in the film I winced, especially when one of the chararcters was talking about how much blood you could swallow before you were sick. Apart from that the film constantly has your brain in gear always thinking about what's happening next while still trying to digest what just happened. ... ...that doesn't mind watching many fight scenes, seeing lots of blood and is good at guessing things before they happen.

the plot is about an insomniac who meets his other side on a plane and is shown the other side of himself. He starts going to meetings wehre people are dying from diseases to let out his emotions but infact there is nothing wrong with him. He begins to turn to his other self whom he believes is real, but in actual ...
