Advantages Advantages Strong cast of regulars, pumped up music, plenty of action

Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing new (not a disadvantage for me but may be for some)

I was looking forward to checking this out at the cinema as I really liked the somewhat mindless action of the others in the series. It met my expectations; it wasn't overly original or intelligent, but it was high energy and entertaining. Fast 5 is, strangely enough, the fifth instalment to Fast and Furious, directed by Justin Lin. We're introduced to Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), an ex cop who partners up with Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel), an ex-con. It was actually Brian and Dom's sister, Mia (Jordana Brewster) that got Dom out of custody and helped him to disappear across borders to escape the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Its all action

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be a bit cheesy in parts

The last time we saw these guys Vin Diesel was on his way to prison then Paul Walker and team essentially rescue him, that’s exactly where this film starts. From that point Dom, Brian and Dom’s sister Mia who are hiding in Rio come to the conclusion that they have to do one last big heist that will really set them free. Of course that means they will need to assemble a team of drivers which are all are favourite past characters from the previous Fast and Furious films. New to this adventure is Dwayne the Rock Johnson who plays the badass federal agent who’s actually hunting them done. Outside ... more

    Advantages Advantages Everything

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing

Everyone has different views on this series of films but in my opinion this one was amzing, it combined everything, surprises, guns, cars and pursuits, it has crammed everything in and made this film amazing. I would recommend it to anybody, without spoiling the plot for anybody, probably the best ending and it had almost a moving sub-plot to the main one. Once again it delivers some humour, I am lost for words on this film, usually in the F and F series there is always something separating the two main characters but now they are all in the same boat. In my opinion the acting is better than ... more

Advantages Advantages Speed of action, social sensibility, convincing charachters.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Unrealistic scenes.

The film is a great improvement on the previous four titles of the series. Characters are portrayed with surprising finesse, the action scenes are outstanding, the story line never gets boring. My main criticism is that some of the stunts are too unrealistic. For example when the car drags the big banking safe out of the police station at incredibly fast speeds, one can only laugh. But what i really like are the scenes in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. Here one can feel the touch of real life of poverty. The film is thus more than just good entertainment. PARENTS do not worry when your children ... more
