Richards (Ioan Gruffudd) is close to being realized. He is spearheading a trip to outer space to the center of a cosmic storm. There he hopes to unlock the secrets of the human genetic codes for the benefit of all humanity. Extensive government grant cutbacks nearly dashed the visionary's hopes of the historic flight until Reed accepted a financing deal with his old college rival Victor Von Doom (Julian McMahon) now a billionaire industrialist. Reed's crew for the mission includes his best friend astronaut Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis); Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) Von Doom's director of genetic research and Reed's ex-girlfriend; and Sue's hot-headed younger brother pilot Johnny Storm (Chris Evans). With benefactor Von Doom in tow the four set off for the exploration of a lifetime. The mission is uneventful - until Reed discovers a miscalculation of the speed of the approaching storm. Within minutes the event threshold is upon them. The space station is engulfed by turbulent clouds of cosmic radiation which genetically transforms the crew. Their DNA is irrevocably altered - and so is their future. Back on earth the effects of the exposure are quickly revealed. the arrival of the SilverSurfer as he is trying to make a crater right in the middle of the city where they are getting marred.
The FantasticFour are then required to help stop this surfer but things take a drastic turn when Johnny follows the SilverSurfer and after touching him his powers start to fail and if any of the other guys touch him they swap powers! Thing loves this and keeps touching him!
They go to where they predict the next crater will be made along with the military and try to capture the SilverSurfer but when they arrive they find that Dr Doom is also there, he claims that he has lost his powers after being struck by the SilverSurfer but is he being completely honest?
Will they be able to stop the SilverSurfer and will they find out what his aim is? Will Dr Doom stay good or is his overall plan evil?

I am writing a review on the brilliant film The FantasticFour ? Rise of the SilverSurfer.
I went to the cinema last night ? 28 June to see this film because I saw the first one and I loved it so I had to go and see the sequel.
The Story Itself
FantasticFour have returned with a lot more trouble ? Reed & Sue (Mr Fantastic & Invisible Woman) are to be wed. But as superheroes, having a normal wedding wouldn?t be possible? Because at the same time of their wedding ? The Earth is encountering unexplained happenings ? Everything is turning to ice, and all planets after turn into rubble ? Destroyed. So? the wedding is ruined by an uninvited guest by an old enemy.
So the FantasticFour get together with the police to find out what is going on. All they know is that it?s a silver man on a surf board.
To the heroes? dismay ...

FantasticFour: Rise of the SilverSurfer wasn't a film I particularly wished to rush out and see. But, in the absence of anything better on at the Odeon, I decided to give it a go. I hadn't seen the first one, I had no particular wish to see the first one, and now after seeing this, I still have no particular wish to see the first one.
Presumably carrying on from the end of the first one, Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic (Ioan Gruffudd) is getting married to Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman (Jessica Alba). Her brother, Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Chris Evans, no, not THAT Chris Evans) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Michael Chiklis) complete the super-powered team. If you want the back story, you'll have to check out the first one.

Features the superhero action adventure FANTASTIC FOUR and its sequel FANTASTIC FOUR - RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. In FANTASTIC FOUR, four astronauts embark on a space mission that goes wrong. The ship's owner - who later transforms into evil Doctor Doom - refuses to abort the mission during a solar storm, which electrifies the ship and its entire crew, causing radical changes to their DNA. Back on earth, the transformed 'heroes' adjust to their new powers, which are specific to their personalities. Mister Fantastic, who lacks assertion, has stretchy limbs of rubber. Invisible Woman, who loves Fantastic but thinks he can't see her for who she really is, does a disappearing act. The Human Torch, an immature guy who is brimming with energy, can burst into flames. And finally, The Thing, a great friend who is as solid as a rock, actually turns into one - and loses his wife due to his weighty disposition. Holing up in Fantastic's scientific lab where they run experiments on themselves in hopes of changing back to normal, the crew learns that Doctor Doom - who is so power hungry that he turns into metal and is able to conduct electrical currents - poses a serious threat. The heroes quickly master their abilities and channel their scientific smarts for one truly fantastic five-way face-off.
