white chicks is a hilarious movie which renounces the difference between white women and black men 2 undercover black FBI agents are on their last chance to get on the chiefs good side. their need for this somehow makes them turn themselves into white blonde women. i believe this is the ideal movie for teenagers looking to relax and just want to have a good laugh. i have watched this movie a million times and i practically know every detail of it. the acting is exceptional both actresses and actors deliver their lines perfectly. the director obviously knew what he was doing. the lines are filled with sidesplitting humour which will leave you and evryone else rowling around in hysterics. i believe that this film can be enjoyed by most people and can help lift the mood if your feeling down. ...

'Triple t, k, a. Time to totally kick ass!' (White Chicks (DVD))

Advantages: excellent comedy
Disadvantages: narrow audience

Seeing that White chicks has an average member rating of 4 stars appeases me a little, but this must be one of the most under-rated movies of all time. It stars the hilarious Shawn and Marlon Waynes, famous from 'the Wayan Brothers', and their performance in this is exemplary. Plot: In actual fact, I do not think that many people would realise this film has a plot if they have only seen it once. Having watched this film numerous times, I think I have some idea! Kevin (Shawn Wayans) and Marcus (Marlon Wayans) Copeland are two failing FBI agents, asked to transport Brittany (Maitland Ward) and Tiffany Wilson (Anne Dudek), two affluent 'white women', to the annual party at the Royal Hampton Hotel. A slight accident during the journey, leads to the vain sisters to threaten a complaint against Kevin and Marcus. Afraid at the consequences ...

Getting to The Core

Advantages: Good for killing spare time
Disadvantages: Scientifically flawed, weak film generally

Always keen to see a good movie, and always open to a new (or not so new) disaster film, when I saw that The Core was showing on one of the movie channels, and read the little description about it, I decided to put it on. Put simply, as the story is about the Core stopping spinning, I was curious as to how this could happen and ideas about what effects it would actually have should it ever happen. Story The Science Bit At the centre of the earth, around the solid iron core, is a liquid, moving rapidly and keeping energy going that powers the electro-magnetic field around the earth, apparently. For some reason, not initially known in the film, there is a slow-down in the movement of this liquid - and so the core of the earth threatens to stop spinning. This would apparently cause the electro-magnetic field to go crazy then ...
