After being converted to the family guy community after the 3rd season I eagily awaited the date of release of the Griffin family newest dvd.
For those who have never seen family guy i will briefly explain the storyline. All seasons are based around a family called the 'Griffins' who live in the town of Quahog. The family consists of Peter, the father, an overweight, idiot husband to Lois. Chris the eldest son who seems to be following in his fathers footsteps. Meg, unpopular at school and commonly the butt of her families jokes. Then there is Stewie the genius talking baby, although its is never clear whether anyone hears the baby or not. Finally there is Brian the talking dog who is a always a friend when needed.
The family is closely linked to other successful animated comedy programmes like the simpsons. Although its humour is more adult and may not be suitable for many younger children. (hence the 15 ceretificate)
This is definately the funniest programme I have ever watched! I have noticed that Family Guy is funny in different ways to simpsons or south park etc. Family Guy takes moments in a story line and reverts back to previous memories. This memories are extremely well thought out and incredibly random! this is most of the humour of Family Guy. It sounds strange when explained like i have done but you may have to watch it to see it. The programme is well put together and every episode is as enterntaining as the last.

If you like Season 4, I suggest looking at the previous 3 series. I have noticed a trend in other reviews that they feel this season did not live up to expectation. I would DISAGREE with that. I thought this was a brilliant season and equal to season 3 and better than 1 and 2.

I haven't really come across 'Family Guy' but I seem to have come across a lot of reviews about it recently - not sure if it is my type of thing though. A good op! Rach =)
