Family Guy is a story of a family of 5 and their talking dog, although having a lot of problems in the US being taken off air a number of times, it still remains one of the funniest cartoons i've seen. 21 episodes hilarious adventures with A Dad who campaigned to let kids smoke(peter), A dog who had a drug addiction(brian), A neglected daughter(meg), A mum who beats up a pub full of New Yorkers(lois), A son who thinks he's drowning when he sees himself in water(chris) and a hilarious British baby who dreams of taking over the world and hates his mum. Some of the jokes can be quite American(stewie)
I only got the dvd on a buy 1 get one free offer, but i found it to be a truly excellent choice, the dvd is made up of 3 discs each with 7 episodes on each, and each dvd is approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. It is rated a 15, because it's got quite a few sex jokes and swear words.
Episodes include Death lives~ Peter experiences a near death experience and helps the grim reaper find a girl friend.
Mr Griffin goes to Washington~ Peter's company is taken over by an evil cigarette company and persuade Peter to campaign to get kids to smoke
Road to Europe~ Stewie is determined to go to Happy Hill Farm in London but ends up in the middle east and travels across europe with Brian while Peter and Louis are at a kiss concert
Brian Does Hollywood~ Brian goes to Hollywood in hope to become a writer but becomes a director for a porn movie and wins an award for it, but is embarrassed to tell the family.
it stars Seth Green, from Austin Powers and the Italian Job doing the voice for Chris Griffin, Mila Kunis from taht 70's show, doing the voice for Meg, Alex Borstein doing the voice for Lois, and the extremely talented Seth MacFarlane doing the voices for, Peter, Stewie, Quaqmire and Tom Tucker.
Even with all the trouble its had in the US the British public voted it 5th in the 100 greatest cartoons ever.
