What a fantastic third season, of a phenomenally good show.

For anyone who hasn't seen it... well, you're missing out. If you're the type of person who easily offended, or ever uses the term "risqué", then STOP READING THIS and go and buy a copy of Watch with Mother, or something.

We join the Griffin family for a fantastic third season of hilarious antics, fantastic one liners and pant-wettingly funny stories & mishaps. Laughter is a great tonic, and this will certainly get you laughing.

Peter, the overweight, and socially-inept father and his wife Lois attempt to raise their three nutty kids, and their talking alcoholic dog, Brian. If you only buy this for one reason - buy it for Stewie, the talking baby. His lines are often the ones that make episodes into real gems.

Family Guy contains the kind of quick witted and semi-crude humor that you just know it's written by a bunch of frat guys.

The writing is more well tuned than the previous two seasons, taking a slightly sharper look. Family Guy features plenty of intelligent but sometimes crude one-liners and cut-away jokes that are worthy of plenty of chuckles. You know the cut-aways - something like "Peter, you remember the last time you ruined a big event". They then cut to Peter driving into the set from Cats (the musical), and running over one of the cats.

"Ready, Willing and Disabled" is the best episode of this series, in my opinion. We see wheelchair-bound Joe trying to make himself feel worthwhile again as he competes in the Special Peoples' Games in Quahog.

The set contains 3 DVDs, with no extras which is a shame. But if you buy the boxes set, you get a DVD of nothing but extras! At 13.99, I was very very pleased with my purchase, especially as it contained 21 episodes. Bring on the Season 4 DVD!

If you like the Simpsons, Scrubs, Will & Grace, Futurama etc. etc you are bound to enjoy this show. So go on! Buy it! I'm certain you won't regret it.
