Family Guy Season 3

I have written a review already on the season 2 DVD, and recently ordered the season 3 DVD and watched it all in 2 days. If you are reading this you have probably already seen Family Guy at least once and know generally about the characters, and the laughs involved.

But, as im ever so kind and i take pride in detailing all my reviews to help the wondering buyer, i will give a short bio of each character in the series.
Peter Griffin: A large, dumb, short-tempered yet sensitive man, "leader" of the house.
Lois: A ginger, thin, even though a cartoon she is quite beautiful, and bossy and tidy.
Meg: a frankly delusional daughter who is referred to by peter as "a housecat" in the DVD.
Chris: an overweight, sad, dumb child who takes after his father and is paranoid about the existence of an evil monkey residing in his room. Stewie: the evil, fluently talking baby who is bent on killing his parents and enslaving mankind
Brian: A posh talking dog who is in a love-hate relationship with Stewie,

This DVD is just as funny as the previous 2, and contains the same type of dangerous/sophisticated, and sometimes offensive humour that is what has got the series all their fans. As i watched the whole DVD in 2 days, i came out with a pale face from lack of sunlight, and a hurting ribcage from laughter, particularly in "Lethal Weapons".

The large amount of episodes are as follows, and i have included a short bio.

1. The Thin White Line - Brain becomes a police sniffer dog but ends up with an addiction..
2. Brian Does Hollywood - Brain gets a job directing porn movies in Hollywood.
3. Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington - Peter becoems president of a large cigarette comapny and makes it bankrupt.
4. One If By Clam Two If By Sea - An englishman takes over Peters local pub.
5. And the Wiener is... - Peter discovers Chris' larger Manhood and tries to compensate.
6. Death Lives - Peter has a near death experience and death helps him save his marriage.
7. Lethal Weapons - Lois takes up Karate (This is my personal favourite, massive fight scene at the end)
8. The Kiss Seen Around the World - Meg gets a internship at the Channel 6 News and ends up kissing Neil Goldman, a loser.
9. Mr. Saturday Knight - Peter's Boss dies and the factory closes down, Peter goes to the medieval fair and becomes a knight.
10. A Fish Out of Water - Peter becomes a fisherman.
11. Emission Impossible - Stewie tries to intervene Lois and Peter having another child.
12. To Live and Die in Dixie - The family have to move to south america on a witness protection program after Chris identifies a criminal, and peter makes a bad mistake (my 2nd fave)
13. Screwed The Pooch - Brian gets Lois parents showdog pregnant.
14. Peter Griffin: Husband Father...Brother? - Peter discovers his black heritage and tries to follow in his ancestors footsteps.
15. Ready Willing and Disabled - Peter enters a disabled friend into the disabled olympics, but gives his steroids.
16. A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas - Peter accidently gives away all his kids presents and Lois has to endure one of the worst x-mas's ever.
17. Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows - Brian is sentenced to care after drunk driving whilst Peter decides to grow a beard.
18. From Method to Madness - Brian auditions at a theatre only for Stewie to get the role, whilst Peter meets a family of nudists.
19. Stuck Together Torn Apart - Lois meets up with an old male friend, Peter gets very jealous.
20. European Road Show - Lois and Peter go to see KISS, whilst Brian and Stewie visit all over Europe.
21. Family Guy Viewer Mail #1 - This is just a fun episode 3 short stories suggested by viewers, completly ridiculous but who cares!

The one loss about this DVD is that their are no extra features, which is a bit sad, but it is very hard to put in extra features on a DVD based on TV series episodes, so the fly in the ointment did not effect my love for this DVD box set.

The box set can be found for an average of around £20-£25 for the 21 episodes, which, as i said before, is across 3 disks, however i did manage to find it for £14.99 with free delivery at www.play.com. The good thing about this DVD is it is great value for money, and the episodes never grow boring or tiresome, as i watched the Series 2 DVD at least 5 times over, and this was even better, a fantastic buy for the comedy lover who can take a few insults on his heritage/country!

This DVD is one of the funniest i have ever bought, and if a person in the street approached me and said "Im getting a TV series DVD, what should i get" it would take me half a second to shout out FAMILY GUY! i would reccomend this to ANYONE who a sense of humour .
