One Law for all ?
Advantages: Good fun for kids. Disadvantages: A bit dated.
The Tomorrow People. Series 4 part 1. ---------------------- I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness. Remembered nothing of the second incarnation of the show, 1992 - 1995 and again nothing of the third reinvented ... ...change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. They have adventures inventing new technologies and fighting evil villains on this planet and from other galaxies. Tomorrow never dies, oh yes it does.
Advantages: Kids Sci-Fi Disadvantages: Quite dated.

Series 1 - The Slaves Of Jedikiah / Medusa Strain / The Vanishing Earth

Remembered nothing ... ...and again nothing of the third reinvented show from 2001 - 2007.
You follow some rare talented humans as they 'Break out' and change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation.
As with all heroes they have a secret base and a super computer, here called TIM, who helps them get out of trouble many, many times.

Good fun!
Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo
...for adults as well and Ice Age 3 certainly delivered on that front. I've seen Ice Age2 on TV but not the first film and never in the cinema. On top of that this was a 3D show. The story essentially follows Manny, the mammoth, his heavily pregnant wife, Ellie and Diego, the sabre toothed tiger as they venture under the ice to a land where dinosaurs are not extinct. They do this to try and rescue Sid, who feeling unloved due to the impending arrival ... ...subsequently been carried off with his 'children' by their real mother. In dinosaur world they meet Buck, the weasel with the Sylvester Stallone eyepatch and knife, the British accent (Simon Pegg voices him) and the literary connections to Captain Ahab of Moby Dick (both have been left injured by 'the great white beast', both are unnaturally obsessed and slightly unhinged by it). As a sideline, Scratt is still seeking his acorn but this time there ...
