Everything Is Not As It Seems
Advantages: Fun for all the family (yes that includes us adults!)
Disadvantages: None really

Austin, as three siblings with magical abilities. As I write this review, it has just began showing its third series. Aladdin (DVD) by Dapocosta
Advantages: On Dvd has extra features
Disadvantages: quite old fashioned
Rub upon a lamp and get three wishes. As we enter the world of Alladin a street urchin who has a pet monkey (Abu).
They come across an escapee princess Jasmine, who was fustrated with her father (the Sultan of Agrabah) for having her life lived for her and the fact that she has to have an arranged, obligated marriage. Alladin shows her around the market place.
Meanwhile Jafar the grand advisor of the sultan is attempting to access the cave of wonders, ...
...but they soon learn they can't access the cave and only the diamond in tho rought can enter the cave. Using a machine they learn that Alladin is the Diamond in the rough and has him captured, Jasmine demnads his release but Jafar lies and tells Jasmine that Alladin is dead.
Jafar uses his magic and disguises himself as an oldma, and releases him from captivity and leads him to the cave of wonders. The tiger shaped head entrance tells them to touch ...

The best film!

Heres the story Madame Adelaide Bonfamille's is giving her fourtune to her cats Duchess and 3 kittens. But nasty butler Edgar wont have any of it he wants the fourtune and will do anything to get it. One night he takes the cat Duchess and her 3 kittens and throws them in a river while they are sleeping. When the Duchess and her kittens wake up the next day they are shocked, lost and cold until a Tomcat helps them with a little help ...

Not brilliant but great for little girls!
Advantages: Nice story and songs, little Melody looks like a perfect mix of her parents!
Disadvantages: A bit simplistic and not very powerful
The original Little Mermaid was needless to say a Disney classic with beautiful songs and a touching story. Therefore I was certainly apprehensive when purchasing this second installment as a present. I decided to watch it as well just to see what it was like, and though I wasn't blown away, I was pleasantly surprised. Though nothing can come close to the original, in this film the story shifts to Ariel's little daughter Melody, who though is human ...
...a very different side to the story where the main song is actually about the wonders of being a mermaid, unlike the original which was about the wonders of being human! All in all, nothing too memorable but a worthy attempt at rekindling the magic of the original, and even better for kids who love mermaids as my little niece does! ...

Advantages: keeps the kids entertained all the way throught
Disadvantages: having to watch it 6 times in one day
