Advantages: Buck will crack you up. PS its Simon Clegg! Disadvantages: Its over really quick,
The first 2 were good, but this one is great. Mostly due to the weasel 'Buck'. Some of the one liners he comes out with are the kind of classic lines that you might end repeating in the pub and all your 'grown up' friends looking at you like you are a loon.
I love the fact that makers of some of the great kids movies do some things for us oldies too that the little ones would not understand for a second, yet i am wetting myself. If you have seen ... ...very close to the characters, especially if your kids wath them as much as mine does. Well the good news is they are all still there, with the addition of some newbies along the way. Sid is very funny, Manny is still moody(ps i still cant stop thinking of everybody loves raymond) and the rest have their moments. There really are some key hilarious bits in the movie, of which of course wont say a word. Go see it, you wont regret it, i think you will ...

Flint Lockwood is not your normal teenage lad. This boy has dreams of becoming the next big thing and to invent something which will change the world as we know it. Flint lives in a very small town called Swallow Falls with his father Tim who owns the local fish shop and seems to have taken a few knocks in life since his wife passed away. We are shown some of Flint's not so great inventions including rat birds and also a remote controlled TV. We ... ...one of which is his late mum who was always keen for Flint to carry on inventing things. Flint is not much of a public figure - that job is left to Baby Brent, the face of the fish town, who is known for being the baby who fronted a fish advert many years before. So Flint has expanded over the years into a sophisticated laboratory in his back garden and is now trying to build a machine which will make him known around the world. With a few tweaks ...
Advantages: A reasonable score. Disadvantages: Dreadful direction, writing and performances.
...of the new technology. The fly characters look like the ants from "A Bug's Life". They have rubbery skin textures, too few legs and spongy movements that suggest there are no underlying skeletal or muscular systems (yes, I know flies don't technically have them, but you know what I mean). Their eyes are over-large and glassy and there isn't enough movement in their faces, which reduces their expressiveness. Any hair they have moves as a solid mass, ... ...nice translucent wings, but you can't always see them. The humans are inexpressive and there is little differentiation between them. The quality of the backgrounds varies enormously. There are some beautiful skies and the water reflections are decent. There is one sequence with a shattering test tube in zero gravity that looks great. But some metallic surfaces are too shiny and others too dull. Overall there is a lack of different textures and the ...
Advantages: Great computer animation Disadvantages: slightly weak storyline and unmemorable soundtracks.
...opinion, i think that initially Space chimps is a little slow to get going, spending quite some time on the star chimp's previous life. However, when it does get going it really is a great kids film. Personally, I found the storyline to be slightly weak but the film compensates for this with the overall special effects and humour within the film. the kids were laughing along at the antics of the chimps and the geeky scientists. The special effects ...
