Are You Ready To Play? Advantages: Keeps your child amused whilst they learn Disadvantages: None really! Tweenies Party Games and Giggles Are You Ready To Play At the moment I seem to be going through my daughters DVD collection for reviews as there does not seem to be many reviews on childrens television DVD’s and we have brought a few bad ones so hopefully my reviews will help make your decision about whether buying these DVD’s are worth it or not. Playing fun Advantages: Bright, colourful, lovable characters Disadvantages: kids want more!!!!! I happen to think Tweenies are one of the best learning children's programmes on the box - you can tell it's made for CBBC - and my son has loved them for as long as I can remember. This dvd only strengthens my opinion. It is a great opportunity for quality time with your child while they learn new things - I know that many people worry about their children watching too much tv but these characters teach so much that it's a great way to introduce ... ...think of others. The Tweenies are 4 pre-schoolers - Bella, the oldest and sometimes bossy one, Milo, the boisterous one, Fizz, the very pink girly one and finally Jake, my favourite, who is the youngest of the Tweenies and is very lovable although naughty at times and can get upset when he can't do what the others can. I'm sure anyone with children who watches it can recognise at least a bit of one of them in their own kids. Top of the Tots Advantages: Full of greatmusic the children will love Disadvantages: Much shorter than an average DVD ...younger still I brought him Tweenies Pop-a-rooney on VHS. I think I watched it every day back then and began knowing all the songs, so when my daughter came along I knew that I had to track it down on DVD for her (if nothing else I wanted to see if I still knew the words!!) My daughter had only just got into the Tweenies when I first got her this DVD so I wasn’t sure how she would take to it, especially as it takes a different form to the usual Tweenies ... ...the machine. TWEENIES The Tweenies is set in a nursery attended by four Tweenies, Milo, Jake, Fizz and Bella, and are supplemented by two adults, Max and Judy and two dogs, Doodles and Izzles. Fab-a-rooney. Advantages: Fun, educational, musical and lots more. Disadvantages: None. Tweenies Ready to Play and Song Time Well if you have never seen the tweenies before then your missing out. They are a childrens based program shown on the bbc channels. There are 4 tweenies, and they are Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake. There are also some other characters including Max and Judy who looks after them in the day and Doodles the dog. In this DVD there are 2 sections,Ready to Play and Song Time. In ready to play there are 8 chapters ... ...but none of the other tweenies want to play at making noise with him as they are trying to play quietly. 2. Tweenies clock-Messy Time Today the tweenies are making musical instrument out of bits and bobs that max has found around the house. 3. "I'm Bella" Max shows the tweenies a marionette which they cant touch as its very delicate. They watch a short film about how marionettes are made and how they are used.
