Advantages: Family fun. Stars Tim Curry!
Disadvantages: Contrived plot, probably not one to keep and rewatch

...being credible and the pirates being very yo ho ho piratey. Apparently Pirates of the Plain didn't make it into cinemas and went straight to video but I think it could easily have held the audience on the big screen. The rental copy had no extras on the DVD. ...

Kris Kringle Is Not Crackers

Advantages: original version is cleaned up and presented in original black and white
Disadvantages: remake suffers greatly when presented with the original for comparison

MULAN - *you dont meet a girl like that every dynasty*-by emperor

MULAN This movie is one of my all time favourites i love it. In my opinion it is funny and what makes it funny is the characters in the film you have mulan, the little dragon, the slightly crazy grandma, the soldiers and the 'lucky' cricket all of whom make this film a joy to watch. Review of Mulan (Animated) (DVD)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo
