What some will do for their nuts! Advantages: Funniy, educational (to an extent), more original than I'd expected Disadvantages: A bit strange, but only a bit! ...the films available already, but Ice Age was among those I’d not yet seen. You’ll notice this is not my typical film, but I am going to give it a go at reviewing anyway! Story Well, you’ll never guess when this film is set! That’s right, in the Ice Age! Well, this first film is set right at the start. All the animals are migrating to better ground, except for a mammoth called Manfred or Manny, who seems to be going the wrong way. He then meets ... ...with two angry rhinos, and helps him out. Unfortunately, he didn’t bank on Sid then deciding to make him his personal bodyguard and follow him around everywhere! Then the two find a baby, that a sabre-toothed tiger, called Diego is trying to claim as his own, and they decide to return the baby to its people, with the tiger guiding them. But can they trust Diego? I love the way this film mixes in all the different animals that surely would never ... Delightful movie Advantages: Good for all age children Disadvantages: none ...delightful story with all the Rugrats Characters. Chuckie wants to find himself a new mum, which is portrayed in such lovely moving scenes. The way it is portrayed really does bring a tear to your eye, showing how he doesn't want to be different to the other children and how he sees the love other children's mum's have for them. My children really did find it touching. God..not another money making childrens film? Advantages: see review Disadvantages: see review While the series of ‘The powerpuff Girls’ is probably good, I can only see one reason they made this film adapted from the series of the same name. I never saw the point of making the film, until I experianced the masses and masses of franchise in a shop this film made (that shan’t be named). It was everywhere from books, bags, pencils, folders, notepads, dolls, lunchboxes the list goes on. Yes, it attracts to a lot of girls and seems fun to watch ... ...so my daughter can watch powerpuff girls, I would get a rather chilling look from him, as if to say what for. My daughter loves this film, but I can’t see the fascination, but I will try to look at it from her point of view as she and many children her age are the people this was made for. Da Rules! Advantages: It can be funny Disadvantages: It can be stupid ...good mother would, I spend the odd half an hour with my offspring, glued to the box as a complete load of cartoon tosh seeps through our brains! You can catch a fair few episodes on Nickolodeon [digital/satellite kid's channel], and if you want to watch more you can purchase this DVD containing all the episodes from seies one, which will introduce you to all the most common characters as well as the main ones. CHARACTERS TIMMY TURNER: Timmy is ... ...has an enormous crush on the most popular girl at school [who thinks he's a zero] and he also has to contend with the ugliest bully in town. Ice Age/ Chicken Run Advantages: Two classic films in one amazing box set Disadvantages: There is none Ice Age- This is the best movie ever it has all the great characters and one great storyline. It is set in a ice age long ago when all the animals began to move south to warmer climates when the ice came. One mammoth stays behind as usual as he is a lonely grumpy animal when he meets a sloth who has been left behind by his family. They team up as they find a baby floating down a river to take it back to its people. This leads to a epic journey with ... ...family. Chicken Run- This is also another great movie the storyline is fab and the chickens are cute and funny. Lots of chickens are desperate to get away from a chicken farm they are living at. The leader of the chickens comes up with all the plans and many mishaps and adventures are had along the way to freedom.
