I used to love Postman Pat as a child,. so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a newer version on TV. My Son (3) also seemed delighted, and that's why we decided to get a Postman Pat DVD. Postman Pat Clowns around consists of 3 episodes, each around 15-20 minutes long. All 3 episodes are entertaining, and my son's enjoyed watching this DVD over and over and over. The only slight niggle is the length, which comes in at just under an hour. To me, ...
...it too short, and so Postman Pat has to go on again straight after it's just finished. I don't think I'd pay over £4 for it, because of the length. However, one very good thing about the DVD is that there are no childrens' TV ads at the beginning to sift through or skip, it's just straight onto the menu. ...this playing in a bookshop's children's section. It was on for the whole day every day, so the assistant said.(Poor Lass). You could imagine this playing in a playgroup or nursery. It is the kind of dvd that suits children's areas in shops.The kind of area where kids are directed by sales people so Mummy and Daddy can spend money. On the whole this is a compilation you could make yourself with the video and day......but why bother with the effort ...
