Harry potter 1-5 dvd Advantages: great film, Disadvantages: parts from the book not in the film All of the harry potter films are fantastic action adventure films. I think that they are brilliant films to watch with your family as all the films have a great story. In my opinion the harry potter series is one of the greatest of them all. Reading the Harry potter books help with the story line but it is not needed as it is very easy to follow compared to films like the Matrix ect. The Harry potter films are a must see in my opinion. Tim Burton is A Class Advantages: Interesting characters, expertly created Disadvantages: Songs can get stuck in your head ...Nightmare Before Christmas is about the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington who doesn't get fulfilled in doing Halloween every year anymore and stumbles across Christmas where he decides to take over the job of 'Sandy Claws' where havoc is created. Should have stuck to the books! Advantages: Wonderful plot for an amazing series Disadvantages: Strayed too much from the books ...just do not exist with Harry Potter and Hermione. Even though the people who made this movie should have stuck more to the books, the movie it's self is magical and enthralling and it keeps your attention. It is very nice to see the magic come alive on the big screen, no matter how distorted the story line becomes! ... The sky DID fall! Advantages: Fish & breakdancing porcupine in end credits Disadvantages: Goes on a bit to long ...was the entire point of Chicken Little's story (it's basically a misunderstanding on his part) so exactly what are they going to do with the remaining 1 hour and 19 minutes? Some of the jokes in the background (a bird flying into a window, a bull running a china shop) are going to go unnoticed (it seems you'll have to buy this one on DVD and watch it several times, most likely the commentary will point that kind of thing out). Voice talent includes ... ...but was there to set Chicken Little back to not a loser any more only to screw up in people's minds again, when another stop sign shaped object falls from the sky and hits him in the head. This getting hit in the head all the time can't be good for his brain, can it? It's halloween Family film but not for children! Advantages: Nice, Adventure, Action, FANTASY, Comedy with the Oslen Twins Disadvantages: scary for the youngers This is a scary movie(spells, witches, wizards) not due to the Halloween content, but because two little girls run away from home, talk to a stranger (a man who lives under a bridge, then they go into another stranger's house ( a dwarf male clown). Although these fellows turn out to be nice guys, we all know that this doesn't always happen in the real world. This movie is a bad message for kids who are supposed to be learning not to talk to strangers ... ...tho, I have seen this film a lots of times (I'm 19) because I like the adventure. This is the best film that the Oslen Twins have filmed when they were youny, I believe! I think they where cute and nice when they were kids, now they are in my age 19 years old and they look and act like they are 30! Anyway i'll continue with the movie...
