More festive fun with Mickey and friends Advantages: Great christmas stories with meaning, fun for the whole family, looks fab in CGI Disadvantages: None for us Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas is a Disney christmas film which was released in 2004. It is the sequel to Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, although it is not essential to have seen the first film as this film holds no relevence to it, other than being a Disney christmas film! Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas is a selection of short stories, rather than a film. Each story is about 10 minutes long and the total running time is approximatley 64 minutes. Inbetween stories is a pop up book whos pages turn to reveal a new story, which is also introduced by a narrator. The first story is called Belles on Ice and involves Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. Love The Shorts, Forget the Live Clips Advantages: great selection of shorts, vaiety of types Disadvantages: annoying clips of children mugging for the camera in between shorts As DVD rental customers, we try to strike a balance between what we rent, renting some for us and some for the kids. My son is still young enough that he enjoys Playhouse Disney, and as he and my daughter have both been fans of Playhouse Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I thought it would be fun to introduce them to some proper Mickey Mouse. It is Christmas Eve and all of Disney's favourite characters are there from older movies and even newer productions such as the Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beauty and the Beast. Mickeys once and twice upon a christmas. Advantages: Thoroughly enjoyable for the big and little kids! Disadvantages: none! Mickeys once upon a christmas is a very traditionel collection of cartoon stories all the old characters are there enducing that all important warm fuzzy feel good factor. Mickys twice upon a christmas is a twist on the original.
