Talking Polar Bears!?!?!

Review of The Golden Compass (DVD)

Very good

Advantages: Great story, very funny
Disadvantages: none

The Grinch is a film based on Dr. Zeuss' very famous book, "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas". The film stars Jim Carrey as The Grinch, and was released in winter 2000, and grossed just under $350 million. The story follows the Grinch as he lives on top of Mount Crumpet, very close to the town of Whoville, where they love xmas to death. He is haunted by bad and unpleasant memories around the time of xmas, and so takes it upon himself, on xmas eve, ...
...The story is very good, as you would expect by an adaptation of a Dr. Zeuss book, and is portrayed on screen just as you would imagine it in the book. Jim Carrey is fantastic as The Grinch, as he does his usual very funny humour to great effect. I would recommend this film to anyone. Overall, 5/5 ...

Hey, you guys! It's the Goonies!

Advantages: classic, fun and adventure.
Disadvantages: A wee bit dated now

The fat lazy lasagne loving cat hits the big screen

Advantages: Funny and appealing
Disadvantages: Nothing special
