A review of the childrens film "Cats and Dogs". Advantages: The DVD is fairly cheap to buy and is accessible in most shops. It keeps children entertained. Disadvantages: It make cats look bad and children believe anything. The film basically is about Cats versus Dogs. A puppy called Lou is taken in by the Brody family, he then finds out that a neighbouring dog is a secret agent and Lou somehow gets involved in saving the canine world from the enemy, cats. The father of the family is close to finding a cure to stop people being allergic to dogs. The cats, led by Mr Tinkles, do everything they can to stop this cure from being found and given to people. Instead they try ... ...the menu to be either cats or dogs so therefore you can choose the side you are supporting. The overall film is a good brain teaser for children as they then seem to think that cats and dogs are up to something in real life situations. It seems to give them more imagination, if they need anymore. A criticism of the film is the way it does portray cats. Zoinks, we are not Cartoons anymore. Advantages: Good film for the children of most ages Disadvantages: Gets a bit dull in places Scooby Doo Live Action. Velma gets sexy Advantages: Velma. Oh yes please Disadvantages: Fairly predictable ending ...but since when did the Scooby Gang have a title (Mystery Inc.) and a hometown (Coolsville)?. I've watched Scooby cartoons a long time (admittedly in England) and I have never heard either of these mentioned ever before. Most believable of the Scooby Gang is Shaggy who is played very well by Matthew Lillard. And I never knew he had any other name other than Shaggy. Oh, and "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot was never released on 78. Anyway Mystery Inc ... ...her cronies were called The Scooby Gang. And Seth Green was also in Buffy as a werewolf. The film has a bit of a weak ending and the baddie is slightly obvious. Its a fairly harmless movie best watched with brain disengaged. Disney's Spotty Dog Adventure! Advantages: Wonderful Animation, good story Disadvantages: None 101 Dalmatians in cartoon form is another Disney film which I had not seen so yet again hubby thought this was bad so we managed to buy it on DVD and last night as there was nothing on the TV again we decided to watch it. Kiss from one true love....... Advantages: Classic fairytale Disadvantages: One of the more old fashioned Disney films Sleeping Beauty has long been one of my favourite Disney films from when I was growing up and to this day I still love all the Disney films!
