Advantages: Any child addicted to Mickey mouse clubhouse will love it!
Disadvantages: You will never again walk down the high-street with change at the end.

Mickey's once upon a christmas!!! Why is it that in real life we adhere to strict stereotypes of people, places and animals? Mice eat cheese, dogs chase cats, we KNOW these things despite the fact that we feed our mice pellets and dogs are wimps. The question was rhetorical, don't get philosophical on me now. My point is when it comes to cartoons, the very things which create and sustain these cliches, nobody bothers to correct them, assuming I suppose ...

Bouncy fun

Advantages: Makes even Aduls laugh
Disadvantages: Makes you cry in places

Review of The Tigger Movie (DVD)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

Review of Ice Age 3 - Dawn Of The Dinosaurs (DVD)

"I thought you guys were extinct?"

Advantages: amazing picture quality, good fun for all the family!
Disadvantages: Cant think of any.

I bought my wife Ice Age 3 for Christmas. She asked for it. Can't say its my type of film, but being a loving husband I sat down and watched it with her anyway. The first thing that struck me, being a blu ray, is the amazing quality. Animated films and comic-esque outings (like the Simpsons) always take full advantage of the High Definition nature of blu ray and make a movie a pleasure for the eye to behold. Ice Age 3 is quite possibly the best example ...
