Advantages: Not many Disadvantages: A very poor title
I undeerstand that the point of ciao is to write detailed reviews for products but even talking about this title annoys me. Why? Lets start at the begining...
I am a fan of DVDs for babies and have several of the Baby Einstein range for my youngest (world animals, mozart, Newton etc). I don't mind payinf £17.99 for these as they are watched over and over and over again. However I do object to this title which cost £15.99 and was watched once and ... ...on a Wednesday afternoon.
As you probably guessed the title is to try and help kids learn about numbers. However all we get is footage from what looks like its from an old american kids show as we count through from 1 to 10. Okay I understand that number is not rocket science but this title is just simply dull. Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: looks cheap
...for £4.99 (from Asda). Okay 100 toddler tunes sound like a bargain but is it?
These are animated versions although the animation is very basic and not that cute. Every 'tune' follows the same pattern with some being quite short.
The actual music is quite dissapointing as well with some songs just sounding like others with different words.
However on the plus side I was able to let it just run and my little one seemed to dip in and out of it. Asda ...
