Talking Polar Bears!?!?!

Space chimps, a funny kids film with great special effects

Advantages: Great computer animation
Disadvantages: slightly weak storyline and unmemorable soundtracks.

...opinion, i think that initially Space chimps is a little slow to get going, spending quite some time on the star chimp's previous life. However, when it does get going it really is a great kids film. Personally, I found the storyline to be slightly weak but the film compensates for this with the overall special effects and humour within the film. the kids were laughing along at the antics of the chimps and the geeky scientists. Review of The City Of Ember

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

Review of Ice Age 3 - Dawn Of The Dinosaurs (DVD)

"I thought you guys were extinct?"

Advantages: amazing picture quality, good fun for all the family!
Disadvantages: Cant think of any.

I bought my wife Ice Age 3 for Christmas. She asked for it. Can't say its my type of film, but being a loving husband I sat down and watched it with her anyway. The first thing that struck me, being a blu ray, is the amazing quality. Animated films and comic-esque outings (like the Simpsons) always take full advantage of the High Definition nature of blu ray and make a movie a pleasure for the eye to behold. Ice Age 3 is quite possibly the best example ...

All the while, we get to watch the fun adventures of the little chap chasing his acorn, that have been present in the past films. This time, there's a love interest!!
