A very touching film

...a film. I knew that Dumbo is a classic of Walt Disney and that it is a film about an elephant, but this was all. I haven’t seen the film until yesterday afternoon. Jumbo, no, he is DUMBO!

Advantages: Great for children, wonderful animation
Disadvantages: None

Dumbo is a film which we bought for our eldest for Christmas but last night we decided me and the hubby would watch it in peace as I have never seen it before and he thinks this is a tragedy! The film starts with all the circus animals getting a delivery from the stalks, all except Mrs Jumbo. The circus then packs up and moves on to the next town but as they are on the train a late stalk delivers a package to Mrs Jumbo. All of the other female elephants ...
...say he is more like Dumbo not Jumbo. As the train arrives in the next town the animals and men set to work putting the circus tent up and getting everything ready for the new visitors. The elephants are all in their places and the crowds start to arrive. One of the boys who comes to see the elephants starts to make fun of Dumbo and Mrs Jumbo starts to protect her son by throwing the laughing boys away and in the process the circus tent gets damaged ...

Dragonball Evolution, The film that fan-boys love to hate!

Advantages: People have loved much worse films.
Disadvantages: If your a fan of Toriyama you probably won't let yourself like it.

Dragonball Evolution!!! Hey Dumbo!

Advantages: Cute, classic
Disadvantages: Quite old and it shows in some ways

...some point in their lives. Dumbo was the 4th ever animated film made by Disney and was released way back in 1941. The story: Mrs Jumbo elephant wishes for a baby of her own like all the other circus animals. However when the stork delivers him she gets a surprise as he has huge ears! Mrs Jumbo loves him all the same and names him Dumbo. Poor Dumbo however is ridiculed by all the other animals because of the size of his ears. Not to be put down ...
...characters. Most noticeable is that Dumbo doesn't actually speak throughout the entire film! Even his mother Mrs Jumbo only speaks once and that is to say his name at the beginning of the film. A Load of Old Dragonballs

Advantages: Chow Yun-Fat understands the provenance of the movie...
Disadvantages: but none of the other players or the director do.
