Oliver Twist is a interesting film. It keeps you glued to your seets and its a film for all the family with bits of comedy and emotion. The film is about a young boy which is an orphan called oliver who is moved around to different orphanages regularly. As he grew up he was forced to work and live in a warehouse. Afterwards he ran from the warehouse and ended up in london, here he was found by a man called Fagan who took him him and taught him how ... ...the parts when Oliver is being taught and his character devepment during the movie. He grows in confidence and learns much from Fagan. Oliver twist is a long film and some of the story may be deemed boring for some of the audience. On the whole Oliver Twist is a fantastic production and was well worth the money i payed for it, I would recomend this dvd and the book to anyone. It has a fantastic opening and a fantastic ending and should be watchted ...
...I decided to go to the cinema and watch Fantastic Mr Fox . Having been a fan of Roald Dahl as a child, I was very keen to see how the film turned out - although to be very honest I think I'd forgotten a lot of the book . The story is about Mr Fox (George Clooney), a dab hand at stealing chickens . However, when his wife (Meryl Streep) announces that she is pregnant, just after the two of them are caught in a fox trap, he vows that if they survive ... ...family from their home in the ground to a large spacious treehouse . Even this life of luxury is not enough for him, and he longs to return to his wild animal days of chicken stealing - and with his friend Kylie , he launches a plan to steal food from the three farms nearbby, owned by Boggis, Bunce and Bean . Although he manages to successfully steal food, the farmers become aware of this and decide there is only one course of action, to team up ...
Advantages: Fun for all the family (yes that includes us adults!) Disadvantages: None really
Wizards of Waverly Place – The Movie Please note: This review is on the film only - not the DVD! When you leave your childhood behind, you are expected to grow up, perhaps watch serious documentaries and news channels – yeah right! With my own daughter as well as my younger brother and sister there is always some sort of childrens programme on the television and I have to admit that secretly I actually enjoy some of them, especially some of the films ... ...characters backgrounds etc. Wizards of Waverly Place is a relatively new series that originally aired in 2007. was created by Todd J. Greenwald, and stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin, as three siblings with magical abilities. As I write this review, it has just began showing its third series. The series is about the Russo family, mainly the three sibling wizards; Alex, Justin and Max (Alex being the middle sister – not a boy!). ...
Advantages: Thought-provoking, fantastic animation, lovely story. Disadvantages: A bit too sad at times.
...shocking orange hair that sticks up like a porcupine.
Ellie is everything that Carl is not, and he’s thoroughly fascinated… in fact, he’s so spellbound by the loud and excitable orange-haired girl, that he can’t seem to find his voice when she’s near him – but that doesn’t matter because she speaks enough for the two of them!
Although totally different, the two children share the same love of adventure, and their shared ambition is to one day become ... ...as well, and I picked up on the subtlety of a story that although appearing simple, is far from simple. There is a depth to Carl and Ellie that is all too human, especially with Carl, and within this depth of character is a story all its own… the reason why Carl is as he is… his fears, his sadness, his loneliness… there’s so much more to Carl than meets the eye. At times, as an old man, he appears so incredibly aggressive and stubborn, yet having ...

SPIRITED AWAY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another magnificent fun film from the incredible Hayao Miyazaki.
Chihiro and her parents move to a new town and Chihiros new school.
Upon arriving they get a little lost and end up in an old run down theme type park which is very spooky and more than a little bizarre.
Chihiro spots little spirit houses in the undergrowth and strange carved stones in the woods.
They all decide to explore the park, although Chihiro ... ...quite rundown. They come across a deserted yet delicious smelling food stall and decide to tuck in but Chihiro has a bad feeling about the park and holds back. Instead she goes of to explore by herself and this is where the movie really takes off…..
Night falls quickly and the park begins to light up by itself and dark shadowy spirits can be seen at each stall and by the time Chihiro returns to her parents they have changed into huge pigbeasts..
