Captain Scarlet was another Gerry Anderson hit show, and was more sophisticated than the ground-breaking 'Thunderbirds', though without so many fancy rockets!
As an eight-year-old child Scarlet's foes the Mysterons were as scary, to me, as the Daleks. Captain Black was like a good-looking Davros - but just as evil!

The Martains or Mysterons ... ...edge to it. Captain Scarlet was a true hero and even had a resemblance to Roger Moore but sounded very much like Cary Grant. This is a series worth revisiting but probably kiddies today would prefer the cartoon type version.
The total series spanned 32 episodes of wonderful nostalgia that will really take you back to proper kids TV.
Highly recommended.

When this film was advertised on TV, the words my 13 year old brother used were “that looks rubbish”, myself, I thought it looked quite good. I usually love animated films, and I loved the ... ...had nothing to do with Coraline as far as credits are concerned, though I cannot say he didn’t do some art work behind the scenes as I wouldn’t know.
