A review of the childrens film "Cats and Dogs". Advantages: The DVD is fairly cheap to buy and is accessible in most shops. It keeps children entertained. Disadvantages: It make cats look bad and children believe anything. The film basically is about Cats versus Dogs. A puppy called Lou is taken in by the Brody family, he then finds out that a neighbouring dog is a secret agent and Lou somehow gets involved in saving the canine world from the enemy, cats. The father of the family is close to finding a cure to stop people being allergic to dogs. The cats, led by Mr Tinkles, do everything they can to stop this cure from being found and given to people. Instead they try ... ...the menu to be either cats or dogs so therefore you can choose the side you are supporting. The overall film is a good brain teaser for children as they then seem to think that cats and dogs are up to something in real life situations. It seems to give them more imagination, if they need anymore. A criticism of the film is the way it does portray cats. Oliver Twist Review Advantages: It wasn't to expensive Disadvantages: Its very long Oliver Twist is a interesting film. It keeps you glued to your seets and its a film for all the family with bits of comedy and emotion. The film is about a young boy which is an orphan called oliver who is moved around to different orphanages regularly. As he grew up he was forced to work and live in a warehouse. Afterwards he ran from the warehouse and ended up in london, here he was found by a man called Fagan who took him him and taught him how ... ...the parts when Oliver is being taught and his character devepment during the movie. He grows in confidence and learns much from Fagan. Oliver twist is a long film and some of the story may be deemed boring for some of the audience. On the whole Oliver Twist is a fantastic production and was well worth the money i payed for it, I would recomend this dvd and the book to anyone. Arrrrrr Jim Lad! Advantages: Family fun. Stars Tim Curry! Disadvantages: Contrived plot, probably not one to keep and rewatch ...being credible and the pirates being very yo ho ho piratey. Apparently Pirates of the Plain didn't make it into cinemas and went straight to video but I think it could easily have held the audience on the big screen. Let Mortal Kombat Begin Advantages: Animated Mortal Kombat that sticks to the storyline (somewhat) Disadvantages: Not enough fighting ...immortal. The rest of the Mortal Kombat cast all make an appearance over the 3 volumes, as the battle for the Earthrealm commences.
