It is really funny and the adventure story line is really fun for me and the family. I reccomend this to anyone with children.!!!! The Incredibles is one of the many excellent offerings from Disney Pixar (creators of such great movies as Finding Nemo, Cars). I have to admit I've always been a fan of the wave of computer generated animations that have arisen in the last decade or so, but even more so because when I tire of endless Peppa Pig, Fifi and the Flowertots, Pocoyo, or other such pre-school animations that would drive even the most childish adult to the brink of insanity ...
...on a different level. The Incredibles is really the only feature length film Mia will really watch yet (but I look forward to the family filmfests as she gets older!). Therefore it is my new favourite! I've always enjoyed this movie, and with Cars being my prior favourite, I recently purchased the collector's edition box set containing both movies. ...everyone; romance, tragdey, comedy and the list could go on. The story is set in Paris and the graphics in this film is really good. Pocahontas is a film of the calibre that Disney should aspire to when choosing their next disastrous P-C fest...*cough* High School Musical *cough* The musical score is incredible, the charcters and their motives believable and for once, the fact that it was a children's film did not mean it had to have talking animals and a happily ever after. The soundtrack alone makes the movie one of the most lyrical and spiritual of all Disney's classic works ...
...wonderful - the meeting of Pocahontas & John Smith in the mist particularly stands out for me... that and the end scne... you really feel as though you are running along that clifftop. Judy Kuhn's (Pocahontas) singing voice is wonderful, and Menken & Schwarz have played a blinder with - no question- the best Disney soundtrack that there has ever been...and ever will be. ...Here you have to guide Alice through some rooms since she is lost. In the first room you have to solve 5 riddles that the Cheshire cat gives you in order to progress further. This isn't hard and would be really fun for children (though I think really young children would find this quite hard and maybe not undertand).
