Hillarious and entertaining.

Advantages: Very funny, original and great voice overs!
Disadvantages: Some toilet humour and innuendos not suitable for younger children

...very good really but the Shrek Karaoke party is very very funny. We were rolling on the floor with laughter. Also the alternative interactive endings are good fun too. It kept us all entertained for quite a while. You are presented with several options and according to your choice an alternative end to the Shrek 2 is shown. Advantages: Brilliant story, well adapted for teh screen
Disadvantages: The real life bits

James And The Giant Peach is a splendid film version (part real life, part animation) of a wonderful book by Roald Dahl. It tells the story of a boy who is orphaned and goes to live with his foul old aunts but ends up sailing away on a giant peach which grows in his garden. Sounds pretty naff, don't it? THE FRAGGLE'S ROCK!

Advantages: Nostalgic trip!
Disadvantages: Not everyone remembers these guys!

Ahoy there mateys!

Advantages: Hilarious, great songs, wonderfully funny characters
Disadvantages: You have to be a Muppets fan to appreciate it

The Muppet Treasure Island is my personal favourite of all the Muppets films. Based on the Robert Louis Stevenson book, it's full of jokes, songs, and true muppet hilarity. There are a couple of human characters- young Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver, and Billy Bones (Billy Connolly) at the beginning, but the rest of the crew are Muppets. Gonzo and Rizzo are Jim's loyal (if silly!) sidekicks, and accompany him on adventure. There are plenty of songs ...
...sing-along section with the words, which kids will love. As a personal connoiseur of the Muppets and all things related to them, I highly recommend this film- it's got swashbuckling adventure, a treasure-trove of fun, and some serious moments too, where Jim shows his integrity of character and wins against Long John Silver, morally.
