Advantages: A beautifully aminated adventure through magic and romance.
Disadvantages: A girly film, maybe not the best for boys.

This wonderful, colourful amination is what every girl would describe as fairytale. Wonderful amination means the characters are lively, beautifully drawn and loveable. The Incredibles is one of the many excellent offerings from Disney Pixar (creators of such great movies as Finding Nemo, Cars). I have to admit I've always been a fan of the wave of computer generated animations that have arisen in the last decade or so, but even more so because when I tire of endless Peppa Pig, Fifi and the Flowertots, Pocoyo, or other such pre-school animations that would drive even the most childish adult to the brink of insanity ...
...on a different level. The Incredibles is really the only feature length film Mia will really watch yet (but I look forward to the family filmfests as she gets older!). Therefore it is my new favourite! I've always enjoyed this movie, and with Cars being my prior favourite, I recently purchased the collector's edition box set containing both movies. Advantages: Great, very funny and well thought out!
Disadvantages: Sometimes a little scary for very young children

This film is set in the past and is about a young girl who goes and fights in the Chinese army against the invading Huns because she believes her father to be too old. She has to disguise herself as a boy as girls were not allowed in the army. When she joins there are many problems she has to deal with because she is a girl for example having a wash! However in the end she manages to save the army but the rest of the army discovers she is a girl. ...
