...time was…and still is *giggle* The Little Mermaid (1989). Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be Ariel and now at twenty you would think I would have grown out of it…but as you're reading this you soooo know better :). I have, not that I should admit it, all of the Disney movies on VHS (Yes. Every. Single.One.) and was extremely upset when I realised I would be forced to buy them all again due to the DVD. So when it was released…with not ... ...(originally…) The Little Mermaid 2 - Return to the sea, I was extremely excited…

Advantages: Suitable for families, hilarious, good value for money Disadvantages: None really
I've always loved the Pixar films, let's face it - who doesn't have one all time favourite one. And getting all seven currently films for around £50 seemed well worth it!
The films are really well packaged, they manage to fit 12 disks into an 8cm wide box, saving on a whole lot of packaging. They've made it really easy to flick through the disks and choose exactly which one you want to watch. There's even a little pocket where they put some postcard ... ...extra. The plastic that the CD trays is made of is not very thick, so is quite easily cracked - however sensible and careful use shouldn't see this product falling apart too easily.
The films in this set are:
Toy Story
A Bug's Life
Toy Story 2
Monsters Inc.
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Cars
Since you can find much more detailed overviews of these films elsewhere I will only record a short amount about each.

Advantages: Classic tale which has a good message. Disadvantages: Like several other movies, not as good as the first one.
This tale starts off like many others with setting the scene, yet in a very confusing way. It is not clear of the time line as it does not directly follow on from the first movie.
Despite the opening flaw it does offer some entertainment and with an original cast from the first movie, the music, along with many other Disney classics, is wonderful and charming and will capture the imagination of many generations.
The basic plot sees to be that during ... ...the Christmas before; thus launching into a long tale in which the characters plan, sing, destroy, and save Christmas!
The villain of the piece is perhaps more terrible than the previous, jealous character of Gaston. He comes in the form of Forte. Forte was the musician in the castle and when the spell was placed on the castle, he was turned into a pipe organ. He now feels useful because his gloomy music seems to be the only thing that makes the ...
Advantages: A couple of good episodes Disadvantages: Please just read the review
...entertainment, however a lot of the classic episodes which I unfortunately dont remember the names to simply arent on the box set. The quality from VHS to DVD is extremely good though I have to say however there arent any subtitles and I myself would have liked an interpretater on the screen for those unfortunate enough to be deaf. This is a feature which is being added to many childrens DVD's and television shows however this DVD didnt even have ... ...I dont want to spoil the DVD telling you the episodes and such on this review however they are enjoyable I have to hand it to them, however for the price which they are asking is simply not on. For the price I would have liked to see mnay more features and extras.
This DVD can be changed to a 16:1 format or for a widescreen however it isnt a HD DVD which may be slightly disapointing because it would have made the DVD more enjoyable.
Overall I wouldnt ...
