Review of The Last Unicorn DVD by cotton770

Advantages: great for kids and adults
Disadvantages: can't think of any.

...as an adult. Whoever wrote the other review about it having poor animation and what not, they have to realize it was 1982! They didn't have fancy computer animation programs then. I am not particularly a fan of today's animated kid movies, with them all being computer generated. I like the real animated movies where you really have to be a talented artist to pull it off. This movie has a great storyline and I can't wait to show it to my own children. ... Read review

Tarzan and friends
Review of Tarzan (Animated) (Wide Screen) by Lubilu_22

Advantages: great soundtrack, Terrific storyline
Disadvantages: quite scary for little children

...it to finish. We follow tarzan as he grows up doing all the things that the gorillas do. But when Jane, the prof and their hired help arrive things suddenly change for poor Tarzan. This is a dramatic story and it involves several fights between man and animal. I would not reccommend it for children under about 5 but anyone older should love this movie and memories of it will live with them for years to come. ... Read review

Tarzan Special Edition/ Tarzan 2
Review of Tarzan - Special Edition / Tarzan 2 (Animated) by emilie2

Advantages: excelent animation and wonderful music and special features of Tarzan
Disadvantages: storyline of Tarzan 2

I absolutely adored Tarzan when I first saw it and I now have got the Dvd of it. However, I was very disappointed with Tarzan 2. However, I believe that very small children will enjoy Tarzan 2. The animation of both movies was fantastic, however the storyline of the second film was less than satisfactory in contrast to the first film's, which was fantastic. I felt that all the songs in the first film were very good and had very catchy music and lyrics. ...
...I feel that they have been repeating the same format used for other disney films. The animation is very sophisticated and you really feel as if you are in the jungle and surfing the trees with Tarzan. I would advise people to buy the original film, but not necessarily the sequal, unless you have a very young child. ... Read review

Worthy Third Installment
Review of High School Musical 3 - Senior Year DVD by katygriff

Advantages: Fun
Disadvantages: None

I love High School Musical and I saw the third one at the cinema last weekend now for the second time as I love it so much. It is the most fun and fantastic film and follows on from the first two very well due to its slightly more grown up feel and songs and dances. This review will hopefully tell you why this trilogy has been finished off perfectly with this fab third film. Story of this film is that it is senior year at East high school and everybody ...
...This film shows that the high school musical franchise is as strong as ever and the third installment still captures all of the Disney magic and once again leaves the audience wanting more. I have to say that this film is definitely one you should go and see if you want a couple of hours of pure fun. The film lasts for just under 2 hours which seems long but it goes by in a flash and as always with these films it is a Universal certificate. You ... Read review

The Care Bears care, do you care?
Review of Care Bears - The Movie/All Dogs Go To Heaven 2/Tom's Midnight Garden (Box Set) by marymoose99

Advantages: Only £2 per film, Care Bears are great!
Disadvantages: Not good version of Tom's Midnight Garden, No English on ADGTH

...of water and watching the Care Bears movie? I was quite surprised that hubby didn't even object to this, and actually seemed quite excited about the film! He must have been feeling delicate too. Care Bears - The Movie I used to like the Care Bears - I was never a huge fan, but had a couple of the bears, including Birthday Bear (my favourite), and used to get Care Bears films out of the video shop along with My Little Pony, and Herbie goes ...
...film, it's the first Care Bear's film, and was released in 1985, but I'm sure I must have seen it at some point. So, onto the story In the orphanage the children are ready for bed, and want a bedtime story before they go off to sleep. So, the orphanage owner Mr Cherrywood (voice over by Mickey Rooney) tells them a story…..about a time when people stopped caring. Care-a-lot is where the Care Bears live, and it's such a nice place to live, ... Read review
