Advantages: Zac Efron, catch songs, decent plot
Disadvantages: Predictable.

Review of High School Musical 3 - Senior Year (DVD)

Oh dear oh dear...........disappointing

Advantages: Only 1.5 hours long so doesn't torture you for too long (thats if you manage to watch it all!)
Disadvantages: too many to list - mainly low budget (responsible for the majority of the failings)

Firstly, the writing was awful, some things were left unexplained, whilst others were explained away immediatley without really giving the viewer chance to wonder. Review of The Secret Of Moonacre (DVD)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

Review of Ice Age 3 - Dawn Of The Dinosaurs (DVD)

"I thought you guys were extinct?"

Advantages: amazing picture quality, good fun for all the family!
Disadvantages: Cant think of any.

I bought my wife Ice Age 3 for Christmas. She asked for it. Can't say its my type of film, but being a loving husband I sat down and watched it with her anyway. The first thing that struck me, being a blu ray, is the amazing quality. Animated films and comic-esque outings (like the Simpsons) always take full advantage of the High Definition nature of blu ray and make a movie a pleasure for the eye to behold. Ice Age 3 is quite possibly the best example ...
