Review of The Golden Compass (Blu-ray)

Enchanted's Enchantedly Enchanting

Advantages: Great cast. Great songs. Cleverly references other Disney films
Disadvantages: There's a really annoying chipmunk

Review of Enchanted (Blu-ray)

A return to form for the little green guys.

Advantages: A change in direction for the turtles. Good CGI and more grittier action.
Disadvantages: Not quite enough action.

...first thing to mention about TMNT 2007 is that the entire film is done using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). Almost all films with special effects utilise CGI at some point but not many films are created from 100% CGI (Final Fantasy is another example). This does NOT mean that the film's quality is reduced in anyway. Infact, my personal opinion is that they actually look a lot better than some actors dressed in turtle suits! Not to give too much ...
...The turtles have split up. Well, kind of anyway. Each one is doing their own thing. Leo has been sent to South America to learn leadership skills. Review of TMNT (Blu-ray)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo
