Tarzan 2

Advantages: Great story, 2 great new songs, good selection of special features.
Disadvantages: It's for kids.

...it - I've already reviewed Tarzan and Jane, which was made before this one (making this Tarzan 3). This is the first DVD I've reviewed so let me know if I need to add anything. Story Tarzan 2 is actually a midqual. It takes place during the song "Son of Man" from the original film. It's about Tarzan trying to find out what he is as he realises he can't be a gorilla. It features Tarzan, Turk and Tantor [and others] from the original as well ...
...who helps Tarzan find out who he is. At the beginning, Zugor is a monster from Dark Mountain. When Tarzan leaves home after realising he's putting his family in danger, he ends up in Dark Mountain and discovers that Zugor is actually an old gorilla who scares the others in Dark Valley by shouting loudly "Zugor". Tarzan discovers who he really is and blackmails Zugor into helping him. That's just a quick summary... the films more complex that that ...

...funny.They usually make friends withe the guests and the staff when thay are turning the hotel in to a playground on Mr. Moesby. I liked the series while it was on the Disney channel but I don't think that I would buy the series on D.V.D. I thought that when the program first came out that it was slightly amusing but now when I watch it that it not really all that funny. However I think that some of the episodes in the new series are funny and ...

Dahl would much have preferred this version,I'm sure

Advantages: The collective genius of Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and Roald Dahl .
Disadvantages: None

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY I HAD to love this film, let’s face it a combination of Johnny Depp’s acting (and let’s face it just to be able to look at him), Tim Burton’s directing and a film based on a book from the pen of the fantastic Roald Dahl made it a must watch. I had always enjoyed the 1971 Gene Wilder film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, although it was based – like this one – on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Roald ...
...rights to the sequel, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. THE PLOT I hardly think that there is any need to go into great deal about the plot – it is, I am sure, widely known by most people. Willy Wonka owned the largest chocolate factory in the world. No one had been inside the factory in years, ever since he closed it down when industrial spies began to steal his secrets. One day Willy Wonka decided to put a ‘golden ticket’ inside ...

# "..Willy Wonka, The Amazing Chocolateer"

...found the last remaining ticket, Charlie firmly believes that he has missed his chance of meeting the mysterious Mr. Wonka. When it’s reported that the final ticket is a fake, Charlie’s hope is renewed and upon discovering just enough money laying in the street to buy himself a chocolate bar, finally stumbles across the elusive fifth ticket and wins himself the opportunity of meeting Mr. Wonka, as well as getting a guided tour around the factory. ...

Jumanji set in a 1950's Sci-fi, but smarter.

Advantages: Incredible effects & fun plot twist
Disadvantages: Too much like Jumanji

The Author of Jumanji released this screenplay that was just barely different enough from Jumanji to be made into a movie. It was smarter than Jumanji, with incredible effects, once again, but it lacked the extra star quality that Robin Williams brought to the screen the first time. Sure, they tried to make up for it by casting Tim Robbins as the father, but he didn't stick around for any of the action. So throughout the movie we're following two ...
...16 year old, completly stereotyped sister who thankfully is in suspended animation for half the movie. Too bad she wakes up, but she does get involved in one funny joke towards the end. As long as you're able to set aside the whole "can breath in open space" thing, then the adventures they have in their house that's for no good reason floating around in interstellar space is quite interesting. They're attacked by some deadly meteoroids, A deadly, ...
