...a number of other wonderful talents. The animation is pretty good. Sure, it isn't as vibrant and snappy as Pixar's flicks, but it is sufficient enough to move this tale along. The film runs about eighty minutes, but it moves very fast. Also, there are a few scenes of violence that may turn off the younger crowd, though this violence is shown to be little more than a visual effect in the end. Advantages: Great animation & parodies
Disadvantages: A bit too short

A CGI animated feature where some pampered New York Zoo animals escape, roam the city then end up on an island where friendships are tested to the extreme. A short plot review but it covers a large percentage of the actual movie. Included in the some the movies parodied are Tom Hank's Cast Away, Charlton Heston's Planet Of The Apes, Silence Of The Lambs. Oh, and Tarzan (twice) & George Of The Jungle I suppose. I watched this film one Sunday afternoon and I could not believe that I had not seen it before this was a great children's film and was very entertaining. Just when you think your eyes are deceiving you yes it really is, it's a Zebra and he is really cute. This film like all animal films has animals that can talk. ...King, Little Mermaid.............yet some of the less recognised movies are just as entertaining and well made. ...I was pleasantly surprised by the movie I saw and bought it on dvd release as soon as it came out. I discovered "Kronks new groove" as I was flicking through the Asda magazine just before christmas and, having loved Kronk in the original film, added the movie to my christmas list. I recieved the 2 disc box set(so I now have a surplus copy of the first movie) and was delighted that the 2nd movie was as good as the first, straight to dvd Disney sequels ... Read review

The Island i would love to be on. Story line was perfect couldn't have wrote it batter myself.
