...I was pleasantly surprised by the movie I saw and bought it on dvd release as soon as it came out. I discovered "Kronks new groove" as I was flicking through the Asda magazine just before christmas and, having loved Kronk in the original film, added the movie to my christmas list. I recieved the 2 disc box set(so I now have a surplus copy of the first movie) and was delighted that the 2nd movie was as good as the first, straight to dvd Disney sequels ...

Review of The Emperor's New Groove / Kronk's New Groove (Animated) (DVD)

The lion, the witch, the wardrobe and its review

Advantages: Great story, wonderful scenery and fantastic visual effects
Disadvantages: The additional footage seems a tad pointless

A Shaggy Dog Story

Advantages: Lovely performances, a nice sense of scale and good, clean family fun
Disadvantages: Some swear-words and continuity errors creep in

Review of Lassie (DVD)

Great fun DVD with a stellar cast

Advantages: Funny amusing rib-tickler of a familly film (and that means you too!)
Disadvantages: A little formulaic but you can look past that

Sharkboy and Lavagirl was great !!

Advantages: It seems real. And has Taylor Lautner in it -He's gorgeous
Disadvantages: There isn't a movie to follow on after

The film is based around the dreams of a boy, Max. He has dreamt up two characters, Sharkboy and Lavagirl and they need his help in order to save planet Drool. I personally thought that it was very much like the Spykids films which I loved, it is by the same director so you can see why it's pretty similar.
