This is a very moving tale of a wild mustang fighting for his freedom in the 'wild west'. A really good piece of animation from Dreamworks. The best part is that there is no animals talking, instead the animal characters are defined and developed through the use of actual animal actions. Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

"I thought you guys were extinct?"

Advantages: amazing picture quality, good fun for all the family!
Disadvantages: Cant think of any.

I bought my wife Ice Age 3 for Christmas. She asked for it. Can't say its my type of film, but being a loving husband I sat down and watched it with her anyway. The first thing that struck me, being a blu ray, is the amazing quality. Animated films and comic-esque outings (like the Simpsons) always take full advantage of the High Definition nature of blu ray and make a movie a pleasure for the eye to behold. Ice Age 3 is quite possibly the best example ...
