Bright & Bouncy stories from winnie the Pooh
Review of Winnie The Pooh - The Book Of Pooh - Stories From The Heart (Animated) by jazzypants

Advantages: Colourful bouncy puppets gives different variety from cartoon
Disadvantages: None. I can't see any child not liking this.

In this dvd we see a bear named Pooh who lives in Hundred Acre Wood with his friends, Rabbit, Eyeore, Pigglet, Tigger and Owl. Thney have many adorable adventures. I watched this DVD witn my daughter who absolutely loved a pooh bear and pals being more than just a cartoon. The puppets seemed to bring their characters and the story to life. Its charming and different as it combines puppets with an animated background with the loveable stories. The ...
...younger children who will be hypnotised by the bouncy friends of the hundred acre wood. I liked this so much that after seeing the series on tv and the smile on my childs face as she watched it, I decided to rush out and buy it. This is a definate buy that will bring sunshine to any childs rainy day. ... Read review

Winnie the Pooh - Heffalump Movie
Review of Winnie The Pooh - Pooh's Heffalump Movie (Animated) by magicalglitter

Advantages: Great morals
Disadvantages: Somewhat predicatable (but this is of course not a worry for children)

...just like in all the Winnie the Pooh films, and they guarantee at least a smile if not a great laugh. The story line is not too obvious for children. It is nice to see Roo (and a little bit of Piglet) as a focus in this film as he isn't normaly much of starring role in the Pooh films; so it is good for those who have Piglet down as their favourite character :) Extras: A great little hide and seek game to play, backstage feature, recipe Subtitles: ... One Incredible Family!
Review of The Incredibles (Collector's Edition) by miasmum82

Advantages: Great film for kids and adults alike
Disadvantages: None I can think of

The Incredibles is one of the many excellent offerings from Disney Pixar (creators of such great movies as Finding Nemo, Cars). I have to admit I've always been a fan of the wave of computer generated animations that have arisen in the last decade or so, but even more so because when I tire of endless Peppa Pig, Fifi and the Flowertots, Pocoyo, or other such pre-school animations that would drive even the most childish adult to the brink of insanity ...
...on a different level. The Incredibles is really the only feature length film Mia will really watch yet (but I look forward to the family filmfests as she gets older!). Therefore it is my new favourite! I've always enjoyed this movie, and with Cars being my prior favourite, I recently purchased the collector's edition box set containing both movies. This set cost me £20 in Asda, but as I say, this was with Cars included. It's currently retailing ... Read review

Horton Hears a Who?
Review of Horton Hears A Who DVD by Spottydog11

Advantages: Great family movie with a great message
Disadvantages: None

Horton Hears a Who? Horton Hears a Who is the new animated film adaption of the Dr. Seuss book of the same name. Jim Carrey stars as Horton, an elephant who leads a pretty nice life in the jungle. One day he happens upon a dust speck that lands on a clover. In credibly he thinks he hears a voice coming form the speck, and lo and behold, he is right. It is the voice of Ned McDodd the Mayor of Whoville. Whoville is a small, microscopic I guess you ...
...on during the movie. Horton and the mayor decide that the clover is not the safest place for the speck and he decides to move it to a new home, a flower on the very top of a hill far, far away.
