Disadvantages: Takes to long to get you into the film

Review of Shrek (Animated) (DVD)

A Classic Ballet performed by Barbie

Advantages: A little girl's dream. Brings Classical Ballet to young children.
Disadvantages: Not of very much interest to boys.

...old grand daughter loves her Barbie dolls and she loves dancing. So what better present to buy her for her birthday than this DVD, Barbie in the Nutcracker. She loves it and has watched it over and over again. The film starts with Barbie and Shelly practising the Nutcracker Suite. Shelly like all children begins to get frustrated and cross so Barbie tells her the story behind the dance, Clara and the Nutcracker. The film moves to a Victorian Christmas ...
...other characters look like a Barbie doll. The dancing is very lifelike. It is based on a ballet company performing the dances so is very accurate to the ballet. . The music is performed by The London Symphony Orchestra and is quite marvellous. The packaging reflects the story with the case and the DVD in pink with a picture of Barbie as Clara. The DVD cost me £14.99. Money well spent as my daughter has got so much pleasure from it. ...

Review of Barbie In The Nutcracker (DVD)

The First Harry Potter Film

Advantages: Wonderful story, great actors,
Disadvantages: misses a few bits

...instant rapport and passion for Harry and friends to get one over on the awful Malfoy. I liked the effects used and the costumes, everything in the film really sets the atmosphere. The dim lighting as they await the sorting ceremony, the cosy Gryffindor common room, that just feels like home. It has all been done brilliantly. Great laughs,

Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: none

...the story line is basicly shrek and fiona have to go and stay in fionas fathers castle ( fionas father is the king by the way) because fionas dad gets sick and is about to die! Well anyway fiona and shrek or in this posh castle and shrek starts missing his dirty swamp because he is not made to be posh he just wants to be cosy and happy, so when fionas dad announces that shrek as to be the next king because their is no one else in line! so shrek starts ...
...creatures to go to war, Shrek goes on a mision to give the kingdom to the only other person that can rightfully own the castle but as he is leaving on the ship fiona announces that she is pregnant, i would recoment this film to all ages, its a barral of laughs personaly my best bit was when the pigs were in war and started roling about shouting its a pork roll lol it was great. ...

Review of Shrek - The Story Continues (3-D) (Animated) (DVD)

And So the Story Begins

Advantages: great acting, good storyline
Disadvantages: So much missing from the book

...find out that this is Harry Potter and his parents have been killed so he is now being raised by his Aunt and Uncle and their son Dudley. He is not liked by them as they are scared he will find out the truth and before long Harry gets a surprise. As Harry turns 11 he finally gets a letter telling him about Hogwarts School and how he has a place there, Hagrid soon finds Harry and gives him the letter personally as Aunt and Uncle have stopping him ...
...that he is a wizard. Harry and Hagrid set off to London to get him his supplies and soon he is looking for platform 9 ¾ to catch the Hogwarts express to take him away to his new life. It is at the station where Harry meets Ron Weasley and they soon become friends. As they travel to Hogwarts they meet Herminie Granger and she too becomes Harry’s friend. School and being sorted into their houses the young wizards soon find life is not all it is cracked ...
