* A bugs life *
Advantages: Enjoyment Disadvantages: None
...life<
I found that a bug’s life was a great film for both adults and children alike.
I thought Flick had some great ideas and used his ideas really well and imaginative, encouraging children to be like him, I loved his inventions and how he carried it through to a conclusion, I also like it how he apologised and how he tried to make amends.
Being a student studying childcare I found this film to be a great way to calm children and let them relax. ...

Are You Ready To Play?
Advantages: Keeps your child amused whilst they learn Disadvantages: None really!
Tweenies Party Games and Giggles Are You Ready To Play At the moment I seem to be going through my daughters DVD collection for reviews as there does not seem to be many reviews on childrens television DVD’s and we have brought a few bad ones so hopefully my reviews will help make your decision about whether buying these DVD’s are worth it or not. This DVD, though, I will say now – if your child is a fan, it is well worth it. My daughter started ... ...my daughter wanted to watch Tweenies more than once a day so as Cbeebies didn’t step up the mark and play it more (which was annoying as Tweenies are educational and great compared to many programmes on this channel which are repeated many times and are just not what you want to watch), we decided to buy our daughter a few Tweenies DVD’s. TWEENIES The Tweenies are four fun loving, lovable full sized characters, Milo, Bella, Fizz and Jake and alongside ...

Goodnight Mister Tom
Advantages: Hard-warming, Interesting, Brilliant Story Disadvantages: Hard to put the book down!
Goodnight Mister Tom has always been one of my favourite stories from when I was younger. I remember my mum bought me the book for my Christmas one year after I watched the drama on TV and I loved it. The novel was actually written in 1981 by Michelle Magorian and the drama was first played on TV in 1998. The drama was directed by Jack Gold and I remember it being brilliant. I am however, going to review mainly on the story.
The story is about a ... ...old when he was evacuated from his home town, London, where he lived with his mother during the Second World War. William is amongst a group of children brought to a quiet village and a gentleman called Tom Oakley is asked if he would care for William whilst the war is ongoing. Tom is an old man who lost his wife and baby forty years ago and is bitter and lonely. However, during the story Tom comes around with young William and he helps him learn ...

Quest for Camelot
Advantages: Devon, Cornwall, Griffon and Bladebeak Disadvantages: Innacurate Arthurian references(I dont remember a Ruber in the legends)
...2 things drew me to the movie firstly there was the 2 headed dragon on the cover, secondly the word "camelot" in the title, you know you're in for a sword swinging, Knight filled adventure when you see the word "camelot" (thats unless it's realated to the lottery, but anyway.....) I had no idea of the plot, would it be musical or straight cartoon, who'd be doing the voices..........I simply took pot luck, bought the film and hoped for the best.
... ...based on the novel The King's Damosel which was the third novel in a trilogy of fantasy novels written by Vera Chapman. "Vera Chapman is a rather interesting character - she was one of the first women to matriculate from Oxford University, she was a druid, married an Anglican vicar and at one point founded the English Tolkien Society. She didn't begin writing until the age off 77, where she produced seven fantasy novels before her death in 1996 at ...

The Red Sea
Advantages: It's a great show Disadvantages: It's banned in Malaysia
...choose that title? Well, in the show, it talks about God's power, miracles and signs. The most amazing one, in my opinion of course was the parting of the Red Sea.
Those who have been brought up as Christians would probably have heard or read about this story, while adults will probably have read it in the Bible. However, nothing beats seeing the story in the visual way. This story's about this Hebrew man, Moses who was abandoned as a baby because ... ...killing the baby boys. As, God would have it, he was picked up by none other than the King's own daughter.
So, he was brought up in the palace. When he was grown up, he accidentally killed a man. He fled and stayed away. It was many years later before God called him to lead his people, the Hebrews out of Egypt. But that was no easy task. You can be sure the Pharoah put up a good fight for his slaves! After many miracles, plagues and so forth, finally ...
