Advantages: nice litle adventure with Pooh and friends
Disadvantages: not quite up to the standrard one associates with the franchise

...film for young fans of Winnie the Pooh, and it's one of the better ones though by no means the best. The animation doesn't have the look of the original 1960's film that charmed generations, nor does it quite have the final updated look we are acostomed to from the Tigger Movie and the TVseries. It's a transitional piece, where the new drawing style and palette of colours was still being developed from the 1960's offering The Many Adventure of Winnie ...
...to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or The Tigger Movie, I suggest either renting it, or buying a cheaper copy for £5.99 from the Amazon marketplace (they are the same, just with the old style cover art that was the same as on the old VHS offering) instead of plonking out just under £20 for this. ...

A great modern adaptation of the Greek myth

Advantages: Great songs, good character development.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of...

Land Before Time 5 - The Mysterious Island DVD

Advantages: cute characters, good story, good songs too
Disadvantages: is one in a series, ali isn't all that hot

Another classic film, the fith installement, to be correct, from ''the land before time'' series. Which of course, started off as one movie, but was then made into several thousnad more in a dire attempt to milk every penny out of a brillant masterpiece. Little People, Big Trouble

Advantages: Good things come in small packages! !
Disadvantages: none

The Borrowers! The film is classed as a "u" film, meaning that it is universal and suitable for all. It is a great family film, good for the rainy days. The film: Pod (Jim Broadbent), Homily (Celia Imrie), Peagreen (Tom Felton) and Arrietty (Flora Newbigin) otherwise known as the "clock family" being small isn't as easy as it sounds (or looks!) An animated tale which isn't all cutsie pie....

Advantages: More real and less 'Disney' than some animated films, good songs, excellent animation.
Disadvantages: Not long enough!!
