Its the bare Necessities

Advantages: great film for all family, very funny, never gets old
Disadvantages: nothing

First fun with French DVD

Advantages: A great way to introduce young children to a foreign language
Disadvantages: There is no written language at all on screen

This is an animated DVD that is aimed at giving very young children an introduction to the French language. It is an enjoyable way of teaching, and parents can sit and relax with their children whilst watching. They can learn about families, daily routine, as well as a few extra topics that are brought in such as animals. Review of First Fun With French (DVD)

Black Beauty

Advantages: Fantastic storyline, soundtrack, anal and human actors
Disadvantages: Saw a crew member on an old version of the film that has since been corrected

...as Sean Bean, starring as Black Beauty's breeder and first owner. The footage and older camera filming adds perfectly to the timed setting of the late 1800's. I have heard people complain in the past that Black Beauty has an english voice. My view is, if the film was created in america, he'd have an american voice. No difference really! Before Babe there was the 1 the only....Lassie

Advantages: Good clean fun .
Disadvantages: No blood , guts and gore .

...has to be Lassie. Lassie is the most adorable, intelligent collie dog I have ever seen. I love the way the humans who appear in the films and TV shows were easily out shone by the main star. The trials and tribulations the poor dog went through over the years were amazing. People would get stuck in a cave and Lassie would make her way to the nearest human who would of course know exactly what she was saying when she barked at them. In Lassie come ...

The other Lassie films all share similar story lines but don’t be deterred by this if you can find one to hire or see one advertised make sure you either tape it or hire it and it will become a family favourite filled with all the drama, humour, romance and emotion you could wish for.
