Rub upon a lamp and get three wishes. As we enter the world of Alladin a street urchin who has a pet monkey (Abu).
They come across an escapee princess Jasmine, who was fustrated with her father (the Sultan of Agrabah) for having her life lived for her and the fact that she has to have an arranged, obligated marriage. Alladin shows her around the market place.
Meanwhile Jafar the grand advisor of the sultan is attempting to access the cave of wonders, ... ...but they soon learn they can't access the cave and only the diamond in tho rought can enter the cave. Using a machine they learn that Alladin is the Diamond in the rough and has him captured, Jasmine demnads his release but Jafar lies and tells Jasmine that Alladin is dead.
Jafar uses his magic and disguises himself as an oldma, and releases him from captivity and leads him to the cave of wonders. The tiger shaped head entrance tells them to touch ...

Review of Aladdin (DVD)
Advantages: Positive message about saving rain forests Disadvantages: Scary monster may be intense for very young children
My two kids (between ages of 4 and 9) loved this animated movie and would watch it over and over. It has lively music, an appealing story line about a fairy rebelling against the status quo, but then learning the important lesson of protecting her home and loved ones. It has a lot of magic (duh, fairies), but the fruit bat (played by Robin Williams) provides one of the best manic Robin Williams comedy routines around. This may not be adivsable for ... ...evil character who comes very close to killing all the very likeable main characters. He is truly demonic in his characterization. Lots of loud, frightening scenes at the end which would definitely have frightened my son if he watched when he was 2 or 3. However, for kids between 5 and 10, I recommend this movie highly. My kids loved it and I think your kids would love it, too. ...

Ok...so spider in the bath is a great chidrens animation which children love to watch or all day long. But is it all good and could this animation actually be doing bad to young children??

Is 'Spider ... ...child there same age likes spider and see's them as a friend rather than something you point and scream at. Most children, when they see a spider, will run away from a spider and be extreamlly scared of something that isnt that scary! Another good reason about this dvd is that its an animation. This can always be a good thing because if a child gets scared of something that they see on the dvd, you can always tell them ''its only a cartoon, it isnt ...

The Kingdom of Dor is famous for its soup and once a year the whole kingdom come together to try the new soup which the chef has carefully prepared for them. Things go wrong though when Roscuro the Rat arrives in town and cannot wait to get hold of and sample the soup. As a result of his eagerness he lands in the Queens soup and as a result she faints and then drowns in her bowl of soup. The King now so upset banishes all mice and rats from the Kingdom ... ...is all taking place in the Mouse words a little strange big eared mouse called Despereaux in being born. He is different from the other mice as he does not cower or get scared of cats. He is brave and adventurous. As a result of this he gets to see the Princess and tell her of a story he had just read in the library and she asks him to go on a quest to discover how it ends. When the Mice Kingdom learn of what Despereaux has done he gets banished ...

Poor old Harry once again finds himself back at Privet Drive for the school holidays and getting annoyed with his Aunt and Uncle. Things go wrong for Harry when his Uncles sister arrives and starts calling his parents names and he looses control of his magic and she ends up being blown up like a balloon and floating out of the door. Harry decides he has had enough and leaves the house. He accidentally calls the night bus and finds himself being taken ... ...outside of school. Luckily for Harry he gets excused and soon discovers that he is in danger as Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban Prison and he is believed to be after Harry to kill him. Sirius was imprisoned when he was found to be a follower of Voldermort and the one who lead him to the Potters and got them killed.
