Tomorrows People, Yesterday

Advantages: Good fro the kids
Disadvantages: Dated

The Tomorrow People. Series 1 - The Slaves Of Jedikiah / Medusa Strain / The Vanishing Earth I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness. Remembered nothing ...

Little People, Big Trouble

Advantages: Good things come in small packages! !
Disadvantages: none

The Borrowers! The film is classed as a "u" film, meaning that it is universal and suitable for all. It is a great family film, good for the rainy days. The film: Pod (Jim Broadbent), Homily (Celia Imrie), Peagreen (Tom Felton) and Arrietty (Flora Newbigin) otherwise known as the "clock family" being small isn't as easy as it sounds (or looks!) They are "The Borrowers" which are a family of four inch tall people who live under the floorboards of ...
...But trouble arises when the nasty local lawyer Ocious C Potter (John Goodman) threatens to have the house demolished...... "what will they do now?!!!" Well the borrowers find themselves thrown headfirst into a big bad world of adventure and fun fun fun! ! ! The theme of the film is Fantasy action drama! Review of Robin Hood (Animated) (DVD)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

...for adults as well and Ice Age 3 certainly delivered on that front. I've seen Ice Age2 on TV but not the first film and never in the cinema. On top of that this was a 3D show.
